I use Layla as a defensive character in Hyperbloom teams, her constat cryo off field (E/Q) makes enemies with annoying mechanics stay freeze and easy targets, i prefer her over Zhongli in this specific team. Also you should try Instructor set, sure you will lose a little bit of Sheild, but its still a good sheild and well played she can buff EM.

I don't even play the game anymore yet I continue to look forward to your next video because I really enjoy hearing your experience with the game. Often a great story told and edited well

ER is overrated on him with double dendro, just hv 125-130 or so and add some fav in the tream if you wan to be safe..

That "for the rest of us" part at the end is so important. C0 value for him is just amazing. And while Neuvillette and Arlecchino are so damn strong, I just find Alhaitham so much fun. Each of the 3 "starter pokemon" here fill a certain niche for me and I couldn't be happier with this trio. Great analysis video. :)

I pulled Al Haitham because he got me at the end of Archon quest. His reason for starting a coup just made cackle. Then he proceeded to take over my account to a point where he became my strongest charecter and his team became my 2nd strongest team. Regarding meta stuff its a popularity contest. It is about 80% bias, regardless what math and actual states of accounts say. What I do need is more interactions between Kaveh and Haitham. They got that old married couple vibe going and i Live (them two in cyno quest was chefs kiss)

Alhaitham got done dirty. He is supremely underrated and one of the strongest DPS in the game. I dare say he's more useful than Nahida even, depending. Together they are just gross

I love Alhaitham and am so happy I pulled him. He's not complicated at all. Everyone made it sound like he is, but he's not. If you've ever played Ningguang, you can figure out Alhaitham.

Objectively He's more valuable than Clorinde for my Account. I already have Raiden plus I also have his 2 strongest teammate (I think), Nahida and C6 Fischl. But somehow I'm not yet have the urge to pull him. And my reason are so strange tbh lol. I like big number in Purple colour more than the Green one. Next time "feeble" Scholar, maybe I'll pull you 😊. One of the best unit ever made in genshin, gameplay, performances, ease to build, design, personality, presence in the story/events/other characters quests: 10/10 everywhere. I wasn't lucky enough during his release so I had to spend a bit of money to get him but I dont regret it at all and I really hope that he also get a second quest more about him this time.

Kaveh and the Dendro Scribe are an old married couple and no one can tell me otherwise. 😎 I love him so much, but he's also the most squishy sword user I have ever found. Def listen to the Saurus and bring along a healer or shielder or a combination of the two. And man do they love to target him - it's like all the hilichurls know he's squishy or something 😅 He's my double crowned king - I will always adore him, now if they could have given him synergy with his "roommate" I would have been happy 🤬 His story quest raised some interesting things that I think (from lore research and theory making) may be important in the long run for the overall story but WHY didn't they let us stay inside his head more? I like that they've moved to making their characters center stage now - but I'd love another quest that truly delved into backstory rather than did lore drop/plot furtherance. Gib me more Dendro Scribe!

YESSSS! :D I love his character, it's a refreshing take on the (seemingly) aloof scholar, and his character design is CHEF'S KISS. He's the first five star I wanted immediately (I came in right around his last rerun), but also the one who got away. TT_TT ETA: Also the Sumeru Crew is just my favorite national crew, honestly.

I've had such a weird experience with Alhaitham... he's got a great build, all his ideal team mates, etc, and something about his playstyle just never quite felt all that strong to me compared to my other characters, so I rarely used him. Guess it's just a familiarity thing though, since if I actually look at the damage numbers he's better than I'd expect... odd though! Definitely should use him more.

I got extremely lucky while being unlucky on this banner. I did 8 ten pulls and lost my 50/50 so no Yae Miko but I got 8 Laylas (one multi without her and one with double Layla) I love her, she is really cool and her kit is great.i like to play with HoD sword and cryo cup with Shenhe to have a defensive unit who can deal nice dmg too in mono cryo =D She still have an HP circlet and her usual set =3

while she is a very strong shielder, I'd pick Diona over her 9 out of 10 times. As Diona has not only shields, but also heals and an EM buff. Even if Diona's shields are only about half as strong, it's not like we need more tan what she can give. Layla's 3 advantages over Diona are: - longer shield duration - stronger shield - albeit only by a small amount, higher total shield uptime, as Layla can technically have 100%, while Diona requires Sacrificial bow for that. That said, if I had any good pyro DPS other than my oldtriple crowned Diluc, I'd probably build her as my 3rd shielder, after having Zhongli and Diona both built properly already, as an alternative for the abyss.

amazing video! lucky that youtube recommended me your channel. i got layla on the current banner to shield my arlecchino, i loved her and i have her with every arlecchino build rn. i event tried to get her c1 but it didn't appear and i reached the soft pity so i didnt risk more. i think of using her with kaeya or wait to pull for rozaria and charlotte. i felt this wast better on arlecchino than rev vape because she doesn't make use of the full hydro aura. what do u think?

For me personally.. I know I probably shouldn’t..but I like pairing him with Layla and Furina. It’s basically a vape team, I put down Layla’s ult and use Furina for hydro application. After that Lyney just shoots the enemy until they die, the freeze comp makes sure they don’t move while Lyney charges up the arrows. But like- DO NOT use me for a viable source, I’m an archer main and I dodge enemies like crazy so I don’t play for efficiency either, I literally just hit and run or use Layla as a shield while I wash dishes or smth..

She is 2nd best shielder! I use her in my Hyperbloom team and that is my main team (Nahida, XQ, Layla and Kuki) so she prevent interruptions and she have help me much when i fight against bosses. My Layla have Dockhand sword i think r2

"Melt Vape teams"... Yeah... Who is melting in those teams already? Cause if you have a Pyro on fielder and Layla as sole Cryo in your team like in the gameplay you showed, she most likely be the one melting... Which doesn't sound great. As you say yourself even built for dmg it's negligeable... Your video could hardly do a better job at making me not want to play Layla gameplay wise... She's a shielder with few equipment options, eh dmg, mediocre utility and has virtually no good place to be played in... We definitely a shielder set that buffs the team. This would help a lot already...
