And parents/grandparents thought Elvis was LEWD in the fifties-sixties? Ha! He wasn't doing anything THEY weren't doing in the thirties and forties; they had just gotten too OLD to do it! Or they never could do it in the first place... This is great stuff.. My own parents loved dancing to Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, etc... It's the quality of the music that has gone to hell now. It's mostly loud bass and 4-chord songs in limited keys.

In The Mood was a forerunner of clean rock. My parents danced to it and then wondered about their kids dancing the same way. It's brilliant stuff and should be recognized as such.

This is a beautiful song, but i cry when i hear it because even though i know god loves me. Although im now 61 and i have never truly been loved by someone. I have never had a special someone in my life to tell me that they love me, ive never been held by someone. It just makes me sad because its like nobody has ever wanted to be a significant other. I could be partly to blame because i never really opened myself up. I always had trust issues from childhood trauma and cruelness. Im not ugly vut people always made me feel like i was so i pretty much closed myself off. Now im just old and lonely vut like i said i know God loves me. I believe he created me not to fit in and i never have really.

Great movie I love it. Cindy was beautiful it makes me sad that she’s not here anymore. Hope she found peace and is happy wherever she is. RIP Amanda 🙏 ❤ The Beatles are actually from my hometown in Liverpool England. We have a place called the cavern club in the city, where they grew up playing their music. Legendary band to this day.

Girls anywhere, anytime, don't come sexier to me than the gal at 1:37 on this vid. Hard not to smile when thinking of the eternal charms of the female of our species when she's at her best. Great song, by the way: never gets old....

I'm 78 and can't really "fast dance" anymore, but can still play trombone. So I bought 3 new ones and enjoy playing Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey and the beautiful ballads of that era, my favorite of which is "Stardust." ... They had really great music back then and songs with more than just 3-4 chords in them.
