drivers licenses in orderly european countries (germany, the nordics, benelux, etc) is definitely a different beast than getting it in NA, especially US. hell drivers license in sweden require you to skip shifting or you're not driving eco friendly enough. basically not only is the demand on safe driving stricter but there's also a focus on eco driving, to the point where you must minmax that aspect. i think it may be harder for USA to make it hard to get a drivers license because its so hard to live in the US without one, meanwhile in, for example the nordics, there is such tight public transport that you can do just fine without a drivers license, which means you wont cripple people by making the demands very tough. usa also straight up lacks a lot of rules in traffic that exists in most of europe, which ones again makes getting a license easier because there is less theory but it also makes driving there worse. usa for example is just a spamfiesta of stop signs, because they havent just added a "right of way" rule. frustrating to drive there in general. bad drivers, aggressive drivers, scruffy cars with dents and scratches make you wonder just how people are driving for that to happen, and how its even legal to drive cars like that on the roads, etc. i remember when MTV wanted to start pimp my ride in Sweden and realized the demands for a car to be road legal here is so tight that it was impossible to find shitty enough cars for that show so they had to scrap the plans.

Yuka that could have been a lot worse! We're super glad you are OK. I had a big crash earlier this year, on a trail I had not ridden before. I broke a rib and did some nerve damage in my elbow. It made me step back & think about my attitude on the bike. You have taken this well and I hope you're back on the bike asap.

The normal commuter bike you used isn't usefull on MTB/off road tracks and we Dutchies don't use those paths with a normal commuter bike. We use the normal hardened bike paths when we travel with our normal commuter bike. What you did is crazy and out of your mind. Use a mountain bike the next time when you want to ride off road. Indeed the dumbest idea you had!!! I couldn't watch it to the end.

And guess what was the first thing i noticed? Track with loads of jumps and if u allow speeds high enough to be dead. I also noticed a girl who looked like she is sitting on a bike like it was some coach. In my opinion no one told u that u should not sit on bike in a delicate way. U should squeeze the bars tight and hold on to your horse. U rode literally like a mannequin .

Ah Running_with_Faith mentioned it. Quiet Waters added a Face 4 and currently they are working big time on maintenance of the trail it self and maybe adding some more features, not sure of that but they have piles of dirt all over the place. Also they are updating the entry gates with magnetic card readers, I guess that's why they are building a Check In office right in front of the trail entrance.

I'm actually from St.louis Missouri and a trail i normally ride my bike i destroyed my coming down hill into a creek and small boulderd. I crashed and broke m elbow bone and wrist both. Carried bike out of woods 4 miles because had another and used for partd. On way out. A female was unconscious had to be helicopter rescue as well because injury. Don't lthat stop you ❤
