Compare the build plates on the two fridges,engel rate the eclipse as more efficient. I recently bought the eclipse and im very happy with it

a cinsukta, does the upper drawer cool the same as the lower one? I have an older Dometic CDF and the top drawer only keeps the food fresh but not cold, it is for fruits, eggs, etc. and I have that question if it is still the same as before or does it cool just like the basket part?

Yeah, I just got 2 king single crashpads based on the good reviews online. The matresses are junk, especially the waifer thin fabric cover, which has worn a hole the size of a 20 cent piece after just one night camp. Hopefully the rest of the swag holds up okay. BTW although the traditional style crashpad swag is advertised on the website as being made in QLD, the king singles are made in China, hence the quality is probably no better than the cheaper brands.

I was tossing up between this swag and another, i think i'll head in the other direction. Thanks for the honest review

Great review vid & love your camp set up. I could so easily live like that forever. Looks like your daughter is having an awesome fun time too & im sure she’ll always remember these times over other memories. Best times ever when you’re a kid! i totally agree with you on the velcro window. That was a deal breaker for me & bought a 23zero instead that features gusseted window flaps. Both are great swags tho unlike a lot of other “cheapies” that leak like a sieve in a storm. When that happens, it can ruin the whole trip!

Hey did the unit give you accurate reading on battery percent when you switched to lithium? I put a lithium battery in mine and have been using it quite a bit and its still reading 100%

I've got ARB single and double....Not cheap but best. Only negative is colour of canvas. As soon as its sunrise, inside of the swag lights up which makes it hard to sleep in...

I appreciate the video. I ordered one, but got a notification a couple of days later that they were out of stock. So, I ordered a 60L. It's certainly bigger than I need and want, and I agree that the fridge/freezer ratio is a little weird on the 60L. I'm also concerned because I've read about a spate of gas leaks in the Lunas of late. I have terrible luck with getting defective products (in all industries), so I'll be holding my breath.

I think if you review the 23zero bandit to the darche dirty dee 1400, that will be more apples to apples comparison.

I suppose I have the advantage of half a century as an EE but I just figure a straight voltmeter was never gonna cut it. Even on lead acid chemistry it won't indicate energy capacity. Yes, you need a current input (like a shunt based one) before any device even has the data needed to calculate depth of discharge. A bit more self study required for DIY.

Hi Robbie, same battery box as you with120amp battery (less free space/air). Just wondering does the shunt generate enough heat to worry about without venting? My shunt only 100amp probably max 30amp draw. Cheers

Think I saw you had a vid when you got it, you had it on a stretcher. I’m about to purchase the crashpad or the bandit but stretcher is on the cards. Will your bandit sit happily on a stretcher?
