Thanks for sharing these really practical hacks. I have 2 kids just out of college in rented apartments, and they each found a hack or two they want to try.

Here is a very easy hack for removing melted wax from your table linens or any cloth material. Do not put the linen or clothing in the washing machine. Take it to the ironing board, instead. Place a piece of newspaper over the affected area and use your iron on a relatively low to med setting to iron over the newspaper with the linen underneath. The heat from the iron will draw the wax into the newspaper completely. I worked in Catering for years. There was lots of spilled wax on tablecloths from guests and our uniforms, when cleaning up at the end of the party. It's the quickest and easiest way to solve the problem.

I hope you have a fitted rubber gasket inside of it to keep water from entering and touching the electrical wiring? Absolutely love how you changed the bathroom in any case! Leaning into what you already had was definitely the way to go.

Regarding your Linen table cloth with candle wax - have you tried ironing it with brown paper (eg. grocery bag) between the iron and the waxy table cloth? Doing this gently, a couple of times should remove most of the wax, then wash as usual. I wish I'd had the chance to do this on my lace table cloth but the friend I loaned it to threw it in the trash instead! 😱

Yes, yes! I love the large textured art on the bedroom wall. Maybe a printed or colored layer on the bottom of the bed so the bed linen would been seen instead of the bars on the bed frame foot board. Lovely room and beautiful flooring.

I recently found your helpful videos and am so inspired. I want to share about a wifi plug that I found very helpful. You simply plug it in to the wall and then plug in your lamp or anything. You can turn the lamp etc on by just using an app on your phone. This made it so we didnt have to install a new outdoor switch. Great videos I will watching. Thanks
