I'm Dutch and have known amateur cyclists who told me how much doping (at least) was the norm in cycling. At their small country amateur team once in a while a guy showed up who presented the products they wanted. Some took, some didn't, and some took a lot. Most stayed amateur and some turned professional. Whatever, at least this shows that the people who became pro knew exactly what world they where entering. Armstrong wasn't more a villain then the majority of cyclists.

Wow, Calley used some powerful language like "almost genocide against children," but I understand his point, especially when he supports it with stats like half of our kids being overweight or obese. It's really a matter of nature vs. nurture, prevention vs. reaction. Calley is a big advocate for nurturing, which is crucial but not easy. It demands much more education and personal accountability. Bravo to him (and you!) for pushing for that change!
