When I was a kid 77 years ago diabetes was almost unknown and only for those over 40 who were already over the hill because life expectancy back in those days was not nearly what it is today. Yes, we're living longer but sicker. The medical community can't make money on people who are healthy. My doctor was truly angry at me and asked me why "YOU PEOPLE " came at all to the medical clinics. I simply came to get blood work to make sure everything was as it should be. I do feel sorry for them because they have to take their own medicine.
