Why do you choose not use radius blocks for board sanding? I understand its a compound radius.

Pottery making is an intricate craft that requires patience and precision. From shaping the clay to firing the final product, every step is a testament to the artisan's skill and dedication. It's fascinating to see how traditional techniques are preserved and passed down through generations, blending seamlessly with modern innovations

What we are seeing is probably only 1/100th of the actual work that these gentleman did to bring this instrument to life. I am starting to understand why these custom pieces fetch the prices they do. Just incredible talent and attention to detail!

A shop with light such as this is a proper shop. So many have merely a dingy garage or basement to work with. Using Fluorescent Light really uglies things, down to the detail in work. To quote the poet Larry David ; “ Good, Pretty, pretty good. “

I don’t know how people can sleep to this…maybe after watching a few times? There’s too much beauty happening. The tools, the shop, all exquisite.

Acoustic perfection. A Greenfield would be my dream guitar. I've seen this video several times and always thought this was one guitar going through the build process. I only recently noticed there are at least 2 but likely more. I noticed different sound hole cutouts on the necks and ser. no. 268 and 265. Amazing work.
