I have the k6s target and the k6s DASA snubby. I absolutely adore them both. The k6s is by far the best six shot revolver in the world. The only thing I wish was different is the lack of texture on the front of the grips. If that were fixed, the guns would be perfect.

That’s great and good to hear! However they kind of have to reach out. In today’s time, reviews are a huge reason why people buy… or don’t buy… products. So they literally have to reach out to save face and I’m glad they did. I had a slight misunderstanding with a company once as I uploaded my LE credentials and they didnt credit it towards my order. But they made up for it and sent me 6 extra magazines and a cool pistol case, and made sure the discount is applied going forward. They did this without any public video made, so nobody really witnessed it. They did it because it was the right thing to do. Wilson makes outstanding products and I had excellent customer service experiences with them. My Paul Howe Glock barrel had some discoloring on it and they had me ship it back, fixed it, cleaned the gun, and sent it back with a spare set of sights, stickers, etc. They even paid shipping both ways and turn around was one week. Good to hear they reached out to you!

Nope, while I appreciate the concerns regarding battery failure, that gun is set up with the red dot and a flashlight/laser combo. The primary role that this gun plays for me is as my home defense gun, so as long as my home invaders aren't using EMPs, I should be okay. That said, I totally do value the failproofness of BUIS, but this gun just has very little rail space to work with.

Sounds like a great set-up. WTP makes some nice holsters...but their belts baffle me. Nice video. I can tell you that the springs are different in these models and the geometry of the internal parts were slightly modified by S&W. I’m in charge of all the special projects at Lipsey’s and was in the launch video. Dale knows his stuff but he was not correct on this one and is not involved in the specs on these projects. Also the actual name of this model is the Ultimate Carry J-Frame. To say it’s the Ultimate Carry gun period would be a stretch. I am confident it is the Ultimate Carry Snub J-Frame style gun though.

@ The LCR version was an effort to make a no frills, lightweight 32 H&R for those who are more price conscious and/or just like the Ruger’s better than the Smiths. Dr. T is a sham. Always trying to "correct" manufacturers yet he is a novice in firearms. He has a fake gunsmith bench behind him in many videos but he is unskilled and really needs to stop. How do you have 5.37k subscribers?!
@DrTac14 күн бұрын
LOL, that's a lot of accusations. You are quite correct, in that I am not a professional when it comes to firearms, but I don't think novice is quite accurate either. I am a practicing dentist and professor, who has been shooting since the 70's...I think the term that best fits my firearm status would be that of a "Firearms Enthusiast." The gun bench behind me in many of the videos is quite real, and I have done several builds, restorations, and modifications on that very bench, although to your point, I am not a gun smith. In addition, behind the camera, which you cannot see in the video, is my bullet press station. where I prepare a variety of different customized loads. As to referring to me as a "sham," and your recommendation that I "stop," I have to ask why? The correction that I was making was to an observation that the Honest Outlaw, a KZbinr with whom I have a great deal of respect, accidentally misdiagnosed. My correction was validated by the manufacturer, Wilson Combat. You may want to rewatch the video, then read your comment and see if it actually makes any sense. Anyway, I do appreciate that you took the time to comment on the video, so thank you for that... ...oh, and don't forget to LIKE & SUBSCRIBE 😉
@user-sq6mo3ji2z13 күн бұрын
@DrTac Well Herbert, you are correct in the problem with ONE Wilson Combat gun. This video is what makes you vile, WC sells tens of thousands of firearms a year but you find one gun with a problem so you decide to make a 20 minute KZbin video on it. In this video you criticize one employee that probably talks to 50 people a day with productive and positive conversations. Im positive that if you gave your subscribers the opportunity to hear your conversations with manufacturers, they would have a different outtake than yours. Just having shooting experience for a handful of decades doesn't give you knowledge to understand firearm manufacturing and gunsmithing. Your videos are hilarious in a bad way...many viewers watch your videos for a good laugh 😂

@DrTac10 күн бұрын
It’s an amazing gun…but from the company’s perspective I’m a bit confused as to its purpose. The CS is kind of perfect when it comes to conceal carry and the P clearly dominates when it comes to open carry/duty pistol…so where exactly does the C fit, since the end user is going to use it for one of those purposes? When I spoke with the company, they told me that it was a “do everything gun,” so it sounds like people are going to use it for multiple purposes, which means some individuals who would have bought 2 purposed guns, can now purchase the C for conceal and open carry. Shit, in writing this response I think I might have just talked myself into buying one😎😎

This past summer, I received the SFX nine I ordered back in March. Both times I called WC Customer Service I hung up the phone regretting I had even made the purchase after speaking with people who made it seem like I was wasting their time. The first was a woman, possibly the one you spoke with, who wouldn’t even help me purchase a magazine over the phone for 1911. I couldn’t recall the item number and had no way of looking it up myself at the moment, I told her it was for the officers size, seven round, etc., etc. All she needed to do is look and find it but she neither offered and just said I have to call back when I have an item number. The second time I called after receiving my custom build and wanted to purchase the 10 round magazine with the extended pinky base plate. I was told that they don’t make one, although I found it on the website earlier in the day. Of course, got my phone, looked online, and called back with the item number. genuinely disappointed with the customer service. Makes me feel like an idiot for spending that much on a pistol when it seems that their front facing employees seem to care less.

2 years ago I was very interested in some Wilson Combat models and got sent a build sheet and everything. Their customer service wasn't *rude* per se but very curt and dismissive of questions. Ended up going with a Masterpiece Arms DS9 Hybrid. Their customer service was awesome. I initially asked them about magazines, because I live in CO and it's a restricted state. Found out they do a great military discount, one of the co-owners answered all my questions about the gun options and while I was making the purchase AND after, another team member reached out and she gave me updates every step of the way and was very friendly.

I guess if that kind of interaction bothers someone, being on the front line of a Customer Service department is probably a poor vocational choice. Most of the time, they usually direct me to someone more knowledgeable or to their media department. The bottom line is, like I tell my receptionists that answer the phones and address patients that walk into the office: "You are the face of the practice, my ambassador, my practice is judged by how you interact with the public, so by all means please be professional, kind and curteous."
