As someone who has used lasers for years, I have one word of hard advice: DO NOT STAND IN FRONT OF A MIRROR (as this fellow does) AND POINT IT AT YOUR OWN REFLECTION. If that laser passes across your eye only briefly, it will hurt.
@DrTac10 күн бұрын
I use very high powered lasers on a day to day basis and actually lecture on advanced surgical techniques utilizing diode, CO2, ND:Yag, Er:YAG, YSGG:Yag, and Cr:Yag lasers internationally...you're not wrong...the optimal part is: Don't let the columnated light get in your eye. Thank you so much for sharing the safety tip... ...Conversely, if you ever find yourself in a defensive shooting situation, don't worry about hitting your assailant in the eyes with the laser or a JHP!! ;D

Glocks may be old school but the gen 5 Glocks when it comes to a carry gun outperforms all others. No it's not a target pistol but at self defense distance it us very fasr
@DrTac12 күн бұрын
I too am a Glock fan boy...but a realistic fan boy...yes, gen 5 Glocks make great carry guns, but there is no way any knowledgeable gun person can agree that they outperform all others. I respect your enthusiasm and emotion, but I think you may have gotten a bit over excited with this hyperbolic comment. All that said, you are right, in that Glocks are great guns.

haven't heard a lot of folks having issues with the scorpions - far more on the sigs - which was interesting to hear
@DrTac12 күн бұрын
Definitely untrue. The CZ Scorpion K...which is the comparable model to the Sig Copperhead series, has been incredibly problematic and unreliable. Having experienced the problems 1st hand (see following video link), I can also attest to the fact that dealing with CZ Customer Care was a nightmare compared to dealing with Sig's Customer Care....and just to be clear, I am a big CZ fan, and have featured multiple CZ firearms in videos, but I would be remiss not to share the bad as well. Having experience with both guns, I would take the Sig Copperhead K all day long over the CZ Scorpion K. The Scorpion's only advantage is that it is considerably less expensive. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKCkkJ-blL17bbcsi=O1hJt-BxFN2B0rwT

@@DrTac much appreciated, Dr! I really need the feedback because i’m in PCC dilemma land - I could get a scorpion for about 650 now but would need to add as much as that in what I deem essential upgrades and I really value reliability. Thanks again I do appreciate you taking the time to write back.

If Kimber had better aftermarket grip support it would be better. The three grips they have don't quite fit. If Pachmayr or Hogue had a Tamer grip that fit it would be incredible. Everything else about the K6sx is otherwise a great revolver.

K6XS is a deep concealed carry piece for ankle, pocket, iwb, or shoulder holsters. Equivalent to the classic Colt Agents and Cobras discontinued in 1999 with the bolt on hammer shroud and the holy grail Magnum Carry. The K6S and K6 SADA are owb holster guns for concealment or open duty carry as counterparts to the classic Colt D frame Detective Special, Police Positive, and Diamondback. At 7:00 you described "countersunk chambers," a custom feature of old gold classic S&Ws like the Model 66 'no dash.' Similar to but less effective than chamfering. I pocket carry as you do using the K6XS, a 642 or 637 without the hillarylocks. Try out the K6S with the Hogue Bantum grip that came with the XS, it should enhance handling ergonomics and shooting with +P and .357 considerably.
@DrTac13 күн бұрын
Interestingly, while the K6XS is almost a 1/2 pound lighter than the K6S, it is actually longer, taller, and wider than the K6S (with the 2" barrel, obviously)...in other words, the K6XS is actually larger than the K6S in every dimension, but it carries nicely because it's lighter. I will look into the Hogue Bantum grip, thank you for the recommendation.
@richardkluesek430113 күн бұрын

@henryschmidt63619 күн бұрын
Not relevant at all. Complete garbage made possible only because of expert marketing. Gluuck himself said it in court that it only cost him $64 and change to make one. If LE Agencies were not gagged by non disclosure clauses in their sales contracts, it would have been discovered decades ago, that they are plagued with just as many problems as the 320. If they were worthy of a place in history, Gluuck wouldn't tell LE Agencies that their pistols need to be replaced after only a five year duty period. Gluuck could never be relevant. No firearm developed by a yard chair manufacturer could be.
