Playing as a bunch of characters is just as important as playing against a bunch of characters to learn matchups. You should play as other characters to understand their kit thoroughly and know their game plan. You need to play against them (with your main) to know what beats what. You'd be surprised with what clanks

If you have a reflector like Ness F-smash, use it when villager is on Rocket, It IMMEDIATELY sends to the the Abyss

Hi! A Rosa main here! 6:39 Against Ness, If you have a move that reflects, Stores or Absorbs any projectiles use it against ness when using PK thunder, This also goes for Lucas as well! :)

One of my favorite things to do against new players is to play ganon, a character that with some thought can be killed easily, however if they always do the same thing out of side b then they will find out that yes warlock punch hurts or side smash kills at 30

The only ones I really have problems on is figuring out what to do when the opponent holds onto a ledge and spacing. (I main snake, secondary cloud, and tertiary joker btw)

He says that as a joke but my opponents have a subconcious reaction to hearing me slam any button on my controller. Results are way better when i head bop and shake the controller a littlethan if i wait them out

Yo so I’ve had a long history from 64 to now, but because of where I lived I didn’t know of tourneys and such until like 2017… so I have probably some good potential but really bad habits… I can see some punishes when watching professional vids but also am dumbfounded by how people made it not as fun but just too competitive. I almost won my first round in Project M after having not played in years as Yoshi and Roy. I don’t have a main, and I’m not tooting my horn, I’m just asking how does a hermit-esque player break habits and start adjusting
