Well if you really want to tailor into it. Spam bright lances and take lots of wraith units because they have 2+ saves against lots of indirect. I recommend wraithlords 😅

It's a great question and I believe that once a unit is battleshocked they actually do not need to take any more tests. So you cannot stack the damage from shadow sadly.

It will certainly shift the meta. But maybe that just means more chaff for daemons? Who knows just yet?! With daemons not having a codex on the roadmap it will be a while before any real changes are made. Until then we just need to adapt to the game state.

Not too often. We don't have a lot of guard players laying around, and unfortunately our guard force isn't very large at the moment. But Neale will step into the world of guard most likely next year!

I'm not having too many issues winning, but I am having issues taking monster mash, or even half of monster mash. The points we give away is still ridiculous. I feel guilty for playing more than 2 greater daemons. But I suppose it is a way to force players into running a mix of units.

They are a very fun army to play in that regard. Loads of threat from all the deep strike!

Since this video came out I actually have had some neat ideas for adding slaanesh into my list! 😁

100% casually viable! I wouldn't go more than Rotigus and the GUO with enhancement! Those two are plenty and give up a lot of points for bring it down and assassinate already. Go chaff after that and have a great time 😁

@@BarnyardWargamingOfficial on 7/19/24 there was a list he placed 1st in. Granted you don't see him a ton, only here and there. But most finishes have been 2nd to 4th in the last few weeks. the last 1st place finish was on that date with Be'lakor.

It's actually very interesting. Because for me Belakor has only ever been a massive let down, and he become even more useless with the latest update. So why use him at all?

But I thought - please correct me - that you could deep strike in next the belakor with any type of deamon? i was sort of assuming this is how he was being used, fly him up, teleport next to him like in the video you showed and it doesn't matter if it's Khorne or Tzeentch or whatever.

You are absolutely correct! But now because of the latest update all greater daemons can have units of the same type deep strike next to them in shadow. This means Belakor is a little bit redundant! Other greater daemons are cheaper and better. But feel free to ask a lot of questions I am happy to help! 😁

This is a bit outdated now! My new updated list has been shown in some live streams but in short it is: Skarbrand Kairos Rendmaster Skulltaker Tormentbringer on exalted seeker chariot with slaanesh enhancement The changeling Bloodletters Nurglings Plaguebearers 6x fiends 6x bloodcrushers 2x5 Flesh hounds Hellflayer chariot I've been playing with this a fair bit with great results! Also have though about dropping the changeling for more troops or a skull cannon... He is just not great in some match ups. Hard to use but fun!

I have always assumed it counts, as they are passing a battleshock test! But I will look into it. For the meantime I would assume yes it works ☺️

Just checked. The only requirement is to 'pass', and the insane bravery stratagem says they automatically pass. So it should work just fine ☺️

Sorry Shalaxi! She is good! Just not on the top tables, and she doesn't synergise with the army. I'd like to play her that's why but she just isn't interesting as a super expensive best stick.

@@BarnyardWargamingOfficial I am currently running her with a knight despoiler to draw some of the fire and clear the first screen, and be'lakor to not get killed t1. Only had the knight for a few games so far but the firepower in a Slaanesh army is a savage combo

Definitely not here to hate on anyone's given play style, but for me I have found that Belakor is a massive waste of points. One of the worst units in the whole game for his price. For almost all of my games I am able to hide my whole army behind walls or of course deep strike them and use the daemons mechanics to get them into combat no problems. So taking Belakor is totally useless. I think shalaxi is a cool missile but in my experience on the top tables, almost everyone you verse will either ignore her completely and screen her with rubbish units, or kill her in one round. I haven't tried knights in daemons too much, let alone big knights! But it certainly sounds like you have more than half your army in 3 models. 2 of which do almost nothing 😅 But that's just what I am used to playing

@@BarnyardWargamingOfficial I know, you definitely don't seem like the type to hate on someone's playstyle. I just have had good luck with be'lakor, the 1 dmg sweep is my only complaint lol. Shilaxi not being shot is crucial for my personal game plan, as she does have such a huge cost loosing her early is huge. But she consistently kills both of their points worth in units, Much more consistently now that I have some firepower to clear screens.
