Enjoyed. Thank you. I often use boxes from the store from the canned goods. It seems I will have the boxes I need JUST prior to an actual sale that requires that particular box! I was visiting family and they had ordered a floor fan that had arrived during my visit. They handed over the box to me as I left. Two days later it was the BEST size to ship two elongated oval antique framed lithographs our neighbor had gifted us as she no longer wanted - the blessing cup overflows!

The older pens are so much better made. I pick them up when I see them. Not an item the thrift stores are raising prices on at this time. The sewing supplies have been over looked as well. You pack so well and I have learned a lot. I send positive thoughts and good wishes for the future.

No, I’ve never had a complaint either that I overpacked. Although I will say there has been an occasional comment to a video stating that I’ve overpacked and use the wrong materials. Lol. I don’t think we can overpack considering that our packages are probably thrown like a football. Thank you, Jude!

I do sell linens. I have new Irish linen items but I also have sold vintage linens. Even ones with a spot or tear which I note in the listing but people still buy them.

I love your packing. Question...although you send a thank you note...you didn't mention whether you send a packing slip, unless I missed it somehow. I guess i will rewatched.

No, I do not enclose a packing slip. I stopped that many years ago and I’ve never had anyone say anything about it. As a buyer, we all receive notification of our purchase and could print out something if we want to. It hasn’t been requested or a concern. Hope that helps and thank you! I will add that I print out a copy for our internal use because I refer to it in my videos and I have the packing slip set up to include the custom SKU so that we can find the location of the item. We also use it to write down the box measurements and weight. We keep the packing slip until after we file our taxes and then they are shredded.

Hey Vickie, another great video! I really hope all your buyers appreciate the pains you go to in order to pack their order as carefully as you do. I have learned so much from watching you pack and ship. I do have a question about the lot of miniatures, why did you put them in a box and then in a padded mailer? In my mind I would have thought the box would have been enough. I would love to know your thinking behind this decision. Always looking to improve on my packing! Love your channel!

I put them in a small box, first to protect them from crushing and secondly, because the small box that I put them in was actually too small for the USPS. They do have a minimum box size. So I just put the box and a padded envelope so the package would be large enough and we could comfortably apply the shipping label. Hope that helps and thank you, Melissa!

The "small" bag in this video (for the cards) was from a box I bought at a garage sale a very long time ago. Otherwise, I buy a box of Walmart "bread bags" (they have a photo of bagels on the front) and I use them all the time. They come with twist ties. Hope that helps and thank you, Janet!

When shipping a box in a poly do I use the size of the poly or the size of the box when mailing?

We use pirate ship to print our labels, and they only asked for length and width when it’s a box in a bag. Might be different on eBay. They might request all the dimensions. If that’s the case, it would be the full exterior measurements.

I've never seen anyone use a air pillow in a padded mailer. Do they make it all the way to the buyer without popping?

I assume so because I’ve never had anyone say that the air pillow had popped. I use them as filler all the time to prevent crushing on the item that it’s protecting. Thanks, Melissa!
