I just bought the new 11.6 inch and purchased all the suggested connections. But the screen doesn't power on, and I'm left with one black connector that actually appears to be the power one, but no plugs on the toyota side fit it 🤔 Anyone got advise?

How did you get your trigger set up on the oem distributor? I keep getting an engine position error crank no start situation.
@JCYT4 күн бұрын
Have you set your timing with a timing gun? You can set ignition angle to 0 Also - make sure you have your trigger settings correct
@devon17483 күн бұрын
@JCYT I followed your sey up on your website the haltech d series preconfiguration wasn't even correct it was almost configuring the car like a b series and couldn't set the trigger to cam per b18-b16, your layout on your website is super helpful
@JCYT3 күн бұрын
@devon1748 If that's the case I would check if it using an OBD1 harness and pinout. But you may just have to pull the harness out and workout each wire 😅
@devon17483 күн бұрын
@JCYT I haven't started the car with your trigger set up yet and I know my last tune tdc was around 20° so I will try all that within the hour. Only thing is I have my injectors wired individual instead of batch so I put it to sequential. I'll let you know thw report

Well, that was an hour of my time well spent. Really enjoyed this. Don't feel so bad. Dart is all I would be catching too. Lol. Be careful, my missus ended up in hospital from midges. Avoid at all costs. Perhaps that contributed to Hudson being sick? Don't know. But every adventure has it's unknown's. You can now tick off a trip that people come from all over Australia (and the world for that matter) to do. Well done mate!

The cane toads were imported to QLD then spread across the whole top of australia. Great holiday👍
@JCYT3 күн бұрын
Oh... they were purposely imported? I'm reading conflicting information about this - something about a flood which brought the toads over and incidentally wiped out another pest on the island.

@JCYT15 күн бұрын
Hi Thanks for reaching out! No i don't but will take some photos and upload them to the website. I will let you know once this is done! Essentially i had a piece of offcut alloy I drilled some holes into the alloy and mounted screen onto the alloy, then the feet were mounted about an inch lower to bring the screen up. I had to retap the holes on the screen to accept some screws from Jaycar. I believe they are M3 screws
