@@TorontoOurCity I haven’t been to Pai yet, but Mrs I Get Food has and really liked Pai. Thai Nyyom has a much more paired down menu, but it’s all pretty good, in particular the Khao Soi. In fact Jamie thinks the Khao Soi is a bit more robust in flavour compared to Pai. But both are great! Looks like I gotta try Pai sometime 😅

Damn the soi looks incredible. Used to go to a place at st clair west and Vaughan rd for this dish but your spot looks better

That’s fair, mileage will vary but for many who grew up on it, it’s very nostalgic. For me, a good one is genuinely a treat, something simple but satisfying. That said, a mid one is just that. Mid. So I get where you’re coming from despite, of course, disagreeing in principle
