Sounds like your police ain't got enough to do and neither does your neighbor. I hate to say it but as much as people complain about California, here in San Diego I leave my extra cars parked on the street for days or weeks on end. Some of the people in my neighborhood leave their cars apart in the driveway working on them for quite awhile until the job is done. I'm sorry you have crappy neighbors and also, this is why I could never live somewhere with an HOA!

Synchro's are more than likely getting slapped around with that single mass flywheel. Generally not recommended as the synchro's for that generation aren't quite as robust as prior offerings

Sorry to hear about your troubles, mr. Dean! Hopefully everything will work out in the end. Me being a (Norwegian) foreigner find the rules and regulations quite strange over in the states. Where I live you can even keep surrounding neighbors awake during the night with loud machinery for months without consequences.

Why dont you buy a loud vintage leaf blower with a big hole in the muffler and very carefully clean every last leaf off your lawn only to continue with a snowblower without a muffler on for the rest of the year, leaving it running in nighttime.. 😂

People can be extra at times. I understand your situation from both sides. I have a few project cars and I live in an apartment complex. The longest time I can have a car in pieces unless its in a garage is one day. There are people here that will promptly report me otherwise. Unfortunately you have to play by their rules or you'll be spending a lot of money on tickets and citations. You do have a lot of vehicles on your property and it appears that it really wasn't an issue until it was. Weather the storm, find a new shop/home and leave the annoyance that is your old neighborhood behind.

Put a sign in your yard that basically says that if anyone has issues with your cars, they should knock on the door.

Limit yourself to 5 or 6 cars (get that Jeep thing out of the garage and junk it). Renovate the inside of your garage and make as content. Then, park 2 cars in the garage and use for active projects. Keep 2 as parts cars for the projects and 2 as daily drivers. Build the shed. Strip any parts cars you don't plan to redo and crush the shells. Store the parts in the shed. Don't by any more cars until you have the projects done; then flip the projects and make a profit. Rinse and repeat. 2 project (start to finish) provide enough content and will help you not to procrastinate so much. I don't blame your neighbors, you are bordering on hoarding and that is unfair to them should they wish to sell their homes...no one wants to live next to a hoarder except perhaps another hoarder. Park your daily drivers as WalMart the day code enforcement comes by.
