This music feels like the soundtrack of a story I once lived but can only remember in fleeting moments of beauty and wonder. 🕊🛠

It can't be said I'm an early bird It's ten o'clock before I say a word Baby, I can never tell How do you sleep so well? You keep telling me to live right To go to bed before the daylight But then you wake up for the sunrise You know you don't have to pretend, baby, now and then Don't you just wanna wake up, dark as a lake? Smelling like a bonfire, lost in a haze? If you're drunk on life, babe, I think it's great But while in this world I think I'll take my whiskey neat My coffee black and my bed at three You're too sweet for me You're too sweet for me I take my whiskey neat My coffee black and my bed at three You're too sweet for me You're too sweet for me (Majestic whistles) I aim low I aim true, and the ground's where I go I work late, where I'm free from the phone And the job gets done, but you worry some, I know But who wants to live forever, babe? You treat your mouth as if it's Heaven's gate The rest of you like you're the TSA I wish I could go along, babe, don't get me wrong You know you're bright as the morning, as soft as the rain Pretty as a vine, as sweet as a grape If you can sit in a barrel, maybe I'll wait Until that day I'd take my whiskey neat My coffee black and my bed at three You're too sweet for me You're too sweet for me I take my whiskey neat My coffee black and my bed at three You're too sweet for me You're too sweet for me (Majestic Banjo) I take my whiskey neat My coffee black and my bed at three You're too sweet for me You're too sweet for me ❤\m/

Different weird but not bad. My biggest issue is the band's name. It sounds like a cartoon or movie fake band. "The Dead Cog" is a much better sounding name.👍

I wouldn't worry if I were you. I'm sure you'll be fine. You're an artist. Artists always get support from their communities in times of need. And you know... It's the kids these days. They are just fascinated with the concept. What can you do? I've watched a lot of videos regarding AI's. They are all made for kids. Adults watch podcasts. I was probably just an unhappy kid. I think that's why I keep watching this stuff, not realizing that it's passed my bedtime. Always loved watching cartoons. They seemed so innocent to me... I'm probably just compensating for something. Me and other losers like me.

Thx for the advice. It really helped when I needed it the most. Some coincidence, don't you think? :))))))))). But you know what helped even more? Those videos with people doing time. They kept saying that in prison you have to take any resources you can find. That seemed to stick with me for some strange reason.

This cover makes me think of Bauhaus' cover of Ziggy Stardust--when David Bowie did it, it sounded like a retired Ziggy reminiscing about his glory days, whereas Bauhaus' version sounds like the Spiders complaining about their front man. With this cover, it's like a Goth or a Punk went back to the Victorian era and performed a version of either Iggy's original or Siouxsie & The Banshees' cover using vintage instruments...

You should probably pay attention to the way you are marketing yourself. There is this problem with the public domain. For example, theorems are not being paid. Pythagoras would get nothing for his triangle's theorem. This might sound absurd, but I would try making it in such a way that in order to sell art, I would sell some material good. You buy it from the net, and I give you a paper saying something nice. Something like that. Something to have a material thing attached to the art that is informational in nature. Or maybe not a piece of paper. Something that holds a known value as a material thing. Maybe even something like negotiating your contracts in terms of the costs paid by streaming platforms to keep your videos up. Otherwise, you find yourself in the same position as Pythagoras. Not for the song itself, but rather for the main original idea. For it's spirit, let's call it that. You are distinct from other artists in your own way, and that means you have some sort of core idea and that in itself I think it's subjected to the public domain laws. It is really a complicated topic. But that is what I would do, I would try giving up completely the core idea and try marketing only aspects of my work that can be put in comparison to material goods that have a well known value.

I think I left you a rather confusing comment about your weight back a while ago. Here's the deal. You buy a product that is in a package. Let's say you buy some peanuts. It says something like 600 kcalories, 20 fats, 30 carbohydrates, 10 fibers. Fibers are carbohydrates. And they do contain calories like every other carbohydrate. The thing is that those particular calories coming from fibers can't be assimilated by the organism because of their molecular structure. Now, the question becomes, if you follow a diet that tells you to eat 2000 kcalories, are they also counting the kcalories that aren't assimilated? I don't know for sure, but I've searched for this exact information for a long time and never managed to find it. When it says 600 kcalories for 100g of peanuts, does that mean only the kcalories that your body actually assimilates or does it also include the fibers, that your body doesn't assimilate. Because if they are also counting the kcalories that your body doesn't assimilate in those 600 kcalories that they write on the package, then eating peanuts all day would make you malnourished. And this is a very complicated question. I've seen opinions on this matter, but never an official document saying for sure that this is one way or the other. If you exercise a lot, your body produces endorphins. That's a sort of feel good hormone. So if you keep exercising a lot, you feel rather good. But you might still be starving. Which in time leads to all sorts of problems. Mental fog, tiredness, depression, hearth diseases, etc... So, my suggestion would be to take care when it comes to dieting. I find it very strange that I could not find any official document on this matter.
