Yoo Kris, They are still running good. I was recently checking my brakes and the springs aren't leaking at all. I have a theory that if you are super careful on not hitting potholes and speedbumps at high speeds they will last a long time. Got an upcoming vid talking about that! They still feel like they did when I first lowered it. The only thing is bigger bumps do feel cringe. Smaller bumps are handled very well. If you got some really bad roads near you or lots of big bumps. I'd say go for the Teins, I know the AVS ones got the hydraulic bump stopper, which should make the ride more comfortable. I'm actually gonna upgrade to Teins when mine finally do give out. That being said I don't regret being on springs first. I wasn't too sure how I'd like this car being lowered. I didn't want to spend $1k to find out and not like it. That being said, I LOVE IT. For sure my fav mod on the car. It feels like a real sports car now and not some SUV lol. It's such a cool feeling having a bigger car but that is still kinda low to the ground. Also I have no issues w/ any driveways. I can drive around everywhere lol.

We have 4 cars a 2017 GS350, 2019 Corolla, 2023 Palisade and 2016 BMW 228i. Our BMW is a 2016 driven by our 19yo son who def enjoys it and it has been perfect engine wise over the last 55kmi. Only two wheel sensors replaced, one set of tires with the rear brakes. It will outrun all our Asian cars and still get 25mpg. The engine bay has tons of space for DIY but the use of plastic everywhere is a scary but so far nothing has melted 😱. The Corolla has had one issue in 5 years, plastic hubcaps fell apart, other than that the engine is an absolute gem! The CVT ruins the driving experience even for an economy car. The Palisade is a minivan in SUV clothing, been a great family hauler. My Lexus is all in one- luxury, performance, economical, and Toyota reliability. I previously drove Mercedes S Class which I loved to drive more than Lexus. Mercedes does a better job on interior and paint quality than Lexus but all the German over engineered mechanical items (air suspension, soft close doors, etc) were a PITA to keep going. I enjoy the Lexus more knowing nothing is broken when I drive it- even with the cold start vacuum pump knock!! Great video!

You picked the lexus because it has engine noise???? That’s like saying the best thing about your girlfriend is that she farts. Engine noise RUINS the cabin ambience. It interferes with the stereo. It makes the car sound strained like it’s huffing and puffing just to accelerate. It’s the sound of SLOW. The junkyard is full of hoopties that make plenty of engine NOISE. Engine noise is what you hear when there’s a problem. Engine noise is the sound that confirms you’re driving in the ghetto with low credit scores and cars that barely start.

What physical properties about the different gasolines would cause the chriping to stop? This is what will actually convince me. Are there differences in viscosity and weight betwen fuels that might explain this? Or is it really the fuel? Maybe the noise stops once the car is at temperature?

Yeah after I made this vid, I learned it has to do with the ethanol content. Most Chevron's don't add that much ethanol to their gas. The ethanol provides less lube than straight gas. Japan only allows 3% ethanol in their gas. US allows up to 10% so that might be why it wasn't caught right away from Toyota. Google "toyota engine gas chirp" there are so many threads on it.

@@EddieGS350 the induction noise was pretty nice. Great car in 2014. But hard to compete with 0-60 in 3s.

You've got the best of both worlds - no grille to grille from a kenworth.

@EddieGS350 yeah. Kenworth make big trucks. Do an image search on new Kenworths and flip their grille upside-down. That's Lexus' take on a grille. Big enough to keep an 80,000-pound truck cool.

Yup. If you want good build quality for an EV you get a Lucid. Teslas have cool tech but they’re basic without consistent build quality

I actually own a Lexus GS 450H and a Tesla Model 3. I love them both. But the luxury of charging at home and driving 125 miles for less than the cost of a gallon of gas is addictive. Not to mention, NO MAINTENANCE and 0-60 in 4 seconds. Don't make me choose.
