Here's a thought: Given that your car windows aren't frameless, would tinting the front two deter smash-and-grab thieves? I figure they prefer quick targets, and the tint might slow them down, as it binds the shattered tempered glass together. While tinting front windows can be illegal in some states, paying a fine could be a worthy trade-off for added security.

Ahh thanks for sharing!! The car next to me wasn’t tinted either so they might have saw this as an easy target. 2 non tinted cars next to each other. Will be tinting the windows in an upcoming vid.

After seeing some car break in videos that occurred in SF, I did see some of the break ins had tinted windows. I don’t think it will deter thieves at all. Usually it’s just crackheads doing this without thinking for a quick buck so they can get their fix. They’re not putting much engineering into this stuff

​@@EddieGS350Brother, dont just go for a tint. There is a special anti-theft foil that is completely transparent. Go for that, not a tint. Breaking a window with such foil is an ultimate task :)

Dawg go get a wet vac & clean that shit up in a couple mins. You’re going to end up cutting yourself trying to wipe it off. Also, you can pop your door panels off and clean all that glass out. Can’t stand a thief

Yeah. Glad it was nothing more than a window. I like my dash cam set up and not looking forward to dealing with wiring a parking mode cam. Hopefully in the future I don’t regret it and say man I should’ve listened to homeslice77.

UNlike. Sorry man, that sucks. I just installed a 3 camera system in my GS350, and hope to never have to come back to it to find this happened. I wish I had the dash cam sooner though as I got hit and run in a parking lot by a drunk moron. The world is full of sketchy losers trying to take and ruin your shyt.
