@@rcwck with the goggles 3 there is a Bluetooth type connection between the RC 3 and the goggles, the goggles then communicate both video and RC signals with the drone. The rc doesn’t have a direct link to the drone - it’s all done via the goggles. This is why there’s no external antenna on the rc3 as it only has to communicate a short distance to the goggles.

@NORB_FPV
@NORB_FPV 28 күн бұрын
Dji system is so much better than Walksnail. I have tried Walksnail,HD zero, Analog, and DJI. DJI isn't the best for freestyle and racing, but DJI is by far the best for everything else. All systems have there pro's and cons but Hdzero and DJI are the best digital systems. Analog is great for newbies and freestyle. Hdzero is the system most professional racers use as well becoming the new standard for freestyleas well. I have a drone company, and DJI is by far the best option for professional work. You pay more but don't need to add additional action cameras, which makes up for the higher cost of DJI equipment. Also, don't buy the avata 2 for racing or freestyle it sucks in that regard, but it's awesome for cinematic stuff and close proximity flights. To be fair, that's its intended purpose, so DJI knocked it out of the park with the Avata 2 if you use it as intended.

If they wanna sell a bunch of goggles 3, have them compatible with all the freakin drones! So stupid. Also, if a person owns a remote 2 and googles 2, allow them to purchase the Avata 2 and IT be compatible. There reasoning isn't sound. They'd make people happier, and they'd make more money.

Great news! Concerning bit rates and transmission quality, I doubt that there's noticeable differences between the O3 and O4, I do get the same reception with avata 2, which has O4 onboard, when flying slightly behind trees, that's because trees, unlike concrete walls, are wet and act like metals and obviously reflect radio waves regardless of their power and frequencies. I too am planning to purchase an o3 unit soon for my goggles 3. Thanks 🙏

Water is non-conductive (without being saturated with salt). It does not act like a metal, it is not Rf reflective. It just absorbs Rf energy. @@daemn42 sure, let's research it. Me: body of water vs metal vs high frequency radio attenuation ChatGPT: Certainly! Let’s explore the attenuation of radio waves across different materials and frequencies. Water vs. Metal: Water: Radio waves, including high-frequency ones, are significantly attenuated in water. This is due to the absorption and scattering of radio waves by water molecules. Light waves are also affected by attenuation in water, but radio waves experience more significant loss due to their longer wavelength. Metal: Metal surfaces are excellent reflectors of radio waves. When radio waves encounter metal, they bounce off, resulting in minimal penetration. The high conductivity of metals contributes to their low attenuation properties. High-Frequency Radio Attenuation: As frequency increases, path loss (attenuation) also increases. This phenomenon occurs because higher frequencies experience more absorption and scattering by various materials. For example, consider a concrete wall: At 2.4 GHz, the transmission loss through a heavy concrete wall is approximately 23 dB. At 5 GHz, the transmission loss increases to around 44 dB. Heavier materials tend to exhibit more significant differences in attenuation between the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. When designing wireless networks, understanding these attenuation variations is crucial for accurate predictions and optimal material selection12. In summary, water attenuates radio waves more than metal does, and higher frequencies experience greater attenuation due to absorption and scattering in various materials. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask! 😊
