for me it starts to land because of 'low battery' at 20% not sure why so early.

I’d like a simple drone I could fly out my second story window and watch on a big screen TV. Something with good range, good reception (3/4 mile). What all would I need? Iv flown tiny cheap drones, but I’m still a beginner

@@juandanielreich I’d change as necessary. Having no filter fitted is obviously the most versatile and then fit whatever filter suits needs the most

So, I can use the DJI Neo to fly over water as long as I have enough satellites connected and a controller, correct? I’m planning to start a KZbin channel and use it for vlogging alongside my Instagram. I’m undecided between the Mini 3 and the DJI Neo combo kit. I kind of like the quick access with the Neo since I can just pull it out.

This will either be due to the fact that your max distance has to be extended under the settings or more likely it could be because you are flying without GPS position lock. Try waiting for a good GPS lock and then see if it allows you to fly further than 50m

Would i consider it ?, what's the max resolution of this drone? Can It record good videos of landscapes ? Pls suggest me as I don't want to spend more than this cost of neo

@@sohitxd4310thanks - to be honest for landscape video and photography a mini 3 or 4 would be better if your budget allows for it. Additionally you may want to wait a few weeks as there is a new drone rumoured (the Dji flip) which may suit your requirements better too

@@aselamadushanka2422 hi, you can sort of do it but in most cases it won’t lock onto non-human subjects very well and will loose lock within a short bit of movement. It would be better to do this manually then.

So I use a DJI Mini 3 but as I was getting more into it and some work - so I bought the DJi RC with the 5.5inch screen. I then had spare controller. So I bought a DJI Neo to go with that! Now have a spare drone & the drone that gets used when & where I don't need, or want to use the Mini 3. Epic solution.

@@dronewilder5234 I'm a former engineer & dabbled with 3d Printing. Then gave up until something that just worked out the box came along. I tried a few drones that were just a pain then DJI came out with the 3 gimble mini with great images and just worked. Now they have brought out something even easier to use - on it's own. Phone then upgrade to a controller.

I have the controller-free version of the DJI Neo and I don't enjoy phone control at all. Right now, I want to buy the controller called DJI RC-N2. Can they connect?

Unfortunately as far as I’m aware the Neo is only compatible with the RC-N3 and RC2 controllers. I highly recommend one of these controllers over the phone control. Unless your primary use is for AI follow modes or vlogging, the RC controller are just so much better for controlling it

Only thing missing is some kind of automatic parachute that keeps itself locked with a solenoid under power to automatically open up on power failure.

3:59 - That strobing effect isn't due to the upscaling, though; it's due to the lack of physical / optical stabilisation coupled with the Neo's light weight (which causes it to shake more, resulting in momentary radial motion blur). Camera resolution doesn't really matter there, you'd get that strobing even if it had an 8k camera and was outputting to 1920x1080. The only "fix" would be a real gimbal (or shooting with very high shutter speed, so there's no radial motion blur to begin with).
