My jazmaster has the eloborated 2892-A2 movenent. On my timegraph machine it is 2 seconds a day fast. The difference between positions (crown left, crown down, dial up, and crown up) was only 3 seconds. Hamiltion is a superior watch. The Seiko movement is crap.

Casio duro has gotten me a grand total of 3 compliments from women. That’s more than any watch ive ever owned and its $50.

Hello. The ocean 500 titanium is just an over level of value for money. I've got one and an orient kamasu. You can't compare. Steinhart specifications are all above the orient : full titane, eta sw300 élaboré premium (mine), 500meters, saphir with AR. It's a lot for the price. The look is subjective. Titanium quality is perfect on mine.

At the point when you get to the price about a 1000 $, it's not worth to look for alternatives in my opinion. If I was so obsesed with B. Navitimer, I would pick up 2nd hand one for a bit more nowdays. If it comes to alternatives, there are plenty of them. Nearly every quartz watch, at price about 100 will do. Quartz watches has big advantage over automatic onces. Accuracy being one, mine, powered by miyota differs 1 s per 3 days. It has 2 alarms, chrono, timer, time zones in 29 cities all over the world. I paid less then 100 , as it was reduced to clear, from 195 original price. All that in 2009, right now, after 13 years still sings beautifully. It has slide rule too.

The Omega is the only decent watch in the "collection". Congrats on acquiring that one. Nothing wrong with Hamilton either. They are stepping up their game recently and have surpassed anything Tissot could ever do. If you want a nice collection you will need to spend at least $2000 per watch. When you hit $5000 it gets better. At $10,000 or more you can get some iconic brands. Start dropping $50,000 or more and you will have an outstanding collection the envy of any watch collector.

Sounds like strained interpretation in order to declare Hamilton the winner. Actually the design of the Hamilton Jazzmaster Viewmatic looks so boring and dull. Who wants to wear 44mm case watch in the business setting. It's like a DIESEL. Moreover, Hamilton just borrows ETA movement. I'd prefer the Seiko SARB065 that is not only more reliable and refined but also sexier. Who cares its strap? You can exchange it for your favorite one whenever you want.

So the Seiko is more accurate, it has a longer reserve, it costs less and it looks gorgeous as opposed to rather Hamilton's ordinary appearance. The SARB065 Cocktail Time is also worth more now 2nd hand than it was new. I know which I would buy.

This is a pretty old video and quite frankly FC has come some distance since then...their brand perception has definitely matured and I think nowadays the brand is taken rather seriously esp. by collectors like myself who are in the income-bracket for watches between $1-5K but still want a classical style watch by a reputable brand. I also own a Longines as well and despite that I still hold equal respect for my FC. And much like everyone else said, if you're not a flashy person then avoid buying watches which are opposite to that.
