Ah the pangs of an unrequited love…so heartbreakingly sad and so beautiful at the same time. I count mine as a win because love is love and what Shakespeare said was true… it truly is better to have loved. 🥰 peace be with you.

For all the people who “don’t like the Dead” well, this tune throws a wrench in your wheel. Fantastic song.

I like the 70s shows the best, but the mid 60s early shows were great too. And the shows in the 80s, those were some crunchy jams also.

I’ve learned that Pigpen Ron McKearnan was a very kind person and read once that he would take care of other band members kids when they were on solo tours.

I thought Bertha performed at Veneta in 72 was my favorite. But seeing this...this is my favorite. To see Jerry smiling so big during his solo brought tears to me it was so happy. They all looked they were having a blast. And they knew it was special

Ignoring social injustice makes you complicit, just like a good German citizen of the Third Reich. It's this infantile attitude that relinquished the culture war of the '60's to the capitalists who've destroyed our planet. Shit like this really makes me wonder if Ken Kesey really WAS part of a PSY-OP to de-fang the American Left.
