It sounds like weir is buried in the mix. I do not care, but does anyone else hear this?

the Dead were simply a gift to ALL. Just noticed that in this one they "at times" sounded like vintage Cream (just a LOT trippier).

This is what happens when the wind of creativity easily concentrates to the degree of an implosion that explodes back outwards blowing away all minds who care to listen.

Fuck the fucking 80s and mother fuck Brent mydland. I said it baby, pig is peak dead that’s real blues base acid cowboy sound, and as is usual with the dead they always changed their nearly every two years so enter 70 exit with pig and underwent a couple more major sound changes(often a matter of the Captains choice of guitar) Till mydland then they just suck, like really suck. Mydland was hell of a singer and musician but he’s a horrible fit for the Dead. Garcia was in too poor health after 78-79’ and should’ve hung it up. I. Bet Garcia would’ve lived longer than he did. Anyways mydland would’ve been the perfect guy to replace like Gregg allman. He’s voice and organ style I thought fit more. Ronald McKernan was absolutely drenched in the blues and it came right through on stage every time. And Garcia and the the boys just feed off him

Good Lord...that very well might be the greatest solo interval I've ever heard. I've listened to it a number of times and this jam is just...man...I don't have the words. I do have the tears that this solo causes me to shed though - it's that poignant. Jerry is absolutely kicking this jam into celestial overdrive!! Pig is singing and blowing his brains out. Bill is trying to hold it all together before it literally launches the audience into the stratosphere and Phil? Phil is doing his best to send this jam out to our alien brothers light years away!!
