Mac OS X Developer Preview 4 was installed on a seperate partion on my work computer when I started a new job in 2000. It was SO COOL to find, left from the previous employee. We used 9 daily but sometimes I would boot into 10 and try different things out. A year later we switched to X and ran applications like QuarkXPress and Photoshop in classic mode within x.

Back then when Apple compared theirselves to other companies instead of comparing to theirselves.. those days are long gone now with Tim Cook.

I had one of these in college and everyone was like “Why don’t you text on your new iPhone?” Whenever I was listening to music and had to use my phone to answer a text. This was the bridge device between carrying an iPod and carrying a smartphone everywhere. This sold me on iPhones going forward.
