That’s what I loved about 2000s era Apple. They never claim to create the first of a new breed be it an MP3 player or a phone, but what they do is say what’s wrong with other variations and they try to learn from the good and the bad and make a product way better than anything on the market. For example: there was no MP3 player on the market even close to the quality of an iPod before they came out.

flash drives are little electric components that holds files in something like a memory stick duo and hard drives are a stack of magnetic disk that is like a VHS tape except it holds like 10 times more that flash drives but if on an ipod, the hard drives moves (spins) to search up songs in the ipod so its not resistant to skipping parts of the song, compared to flash. But flash has already made it up to 32 GB

No, no, read it again, it is affirming what I said. You see, there is something called a gigabyte and a gibibyte, a gigabyte is 1,000,000,000 bytes (10^9), a gibibyte is a compound word of "giga" meaning "^9" and "binary" meaning "0's & 1's" & such. So a gibibyte is 2^30, which is 1,073,741,824 bytes. So the reason you don't get all of the disk space is because it's advertised as "8 gigabytes", but computers calculate in gibibytes, so it is less... Make sense?

That's kinda right, but kinda not. Flash drives aren't necessarily 10 times less storage than hard disks (drives). Toshiba is coming out with a 500GB solid state drive (flash drive) next month I think, while the biggest hard drive is only 2TB (2000GB), so right now, hard drives are only 4 times bigger.
