That’s a very good question. If you want to update it (I think they may have stopped updating it) or add a new make, you’ll need to add the device to your foxwell account. But if it’s already registered……? I don’t know. Sorry not much help.

Would this cause the interior door locks to not unlock/lock with the center unlock/lock switch as well?

No, the centre switch is hardwired so doesn’t use this module. It sounds like the actuators in the door.

No, this would only be for unlocking. Check fuses or battery level.

My name is Vic, please I need your help, my LR4 Discovery is not starting. It's been 2 weeks now my mechanic don't have a clue here in Africa. The system is detecting crankshaft sensor error. We tried fix another one but still it refusing to start. I am getting so frustrated with this. I need advice plsease

You might know by now that your crankshaft is probably cracked. It’s a known issue with the lr4/disco4. The design flaw is in the lubricating of the shaft thru the crank bearings and the impeller on your oil pump, way under efficient. You will need to body off, engine rebuild. The labour alone is $$$

If that is the case, it’s a new second hand engine would be the cheapest/quickest way to sort it. Good luck!

Brilliant! My issue was the amplifier came unplugged during my headliner renovation. I didn't realize it had happened until you took off the clock and showed where it sat. Sure enough, plugged it back in and everything works as advertised! Cheers mate!

Even more indispensable on a D2 . But the D2 codes work with most of the Defender TD5 systems. But not the other way around.

Really helpful thanks! I’ve just purchased an 2005 mini copper S r53 in black.. it’s a fun car, I’m finding the gear changing difficult it’s tough to put into gear I’m not sure if that’s the clutch or the gear box 🤷🏼 or if that’s “just the way they are” can you give me advise pls

One important thing, especially if changing bulbs in the winter - I would take the headlight assembly indoors and let it reach room temperature before openning anything. Only when it is at room temperature open it and change the bulb. Seal t up again indoors before replacing it on the car. This ensures that the light remains dry inside the housing and no condensation gets inside the light. Condensation inside is horrible and this method makes sure it won't happen.
