Enough with the imperial/standard/fraction gobbledygook, it sounds like she is summoning a demon, pity you are not calling out the metric to show the simplicity at the same time.

Looks like your KZbin channel has stalled out, but curious if you are still out sailing on your Passport 40? I'm thinking of buying one and was hoping to follow your adventure!

I miss these guys too. As an East Coast cruiser I never got to run across them personally on the water but loved to watch their west coast adventures.

Several references to what I think is he most important stat found by a Gallup study done in the 90s are available with a search “divorce 1% 1153” - only an estimated 6 to 11% of couples do this daily activity together. Going on 15 years I can say yes it’s true. ❤

Hilary returns the turtle to the water very gently. Dudes in other videos toss the turtles overboard like they're throwing an empty beer bottle in a dumpster.

How well did that heater exhaust work. I only ask because I read you are supposed to mount them level or lower than the heater. Any issues with condensation?

The plant with the giant leaves is called Nalca. The inner stalk is actually edible, however it is extremely bitter. One's that have the leaf curling in on itself are more ripe and less bitter, you basically just peal the outer skin and eat it with a bit of sugar on top. Not to many people like, but it is popular in southern Chile where it grows wild thanks to the vast amounts of rainfall each year. The thin tubular kelp is called Cochayuyo, its pretty popular in southern Chile and can be found often for sale on street corners. Its used in several different food.

I've done 2 GC river trips with these two gems of the river. Just searching for river hikes on net as we've just invited them today on another trip & found a link to Hillary's video! Wow. Some river magic in operation!

That is always a rough trip sailing North. Sailing South is a much better trip to take until you get used to it.

Well this video is a bit useless to viewers. I'll give a consumer warning here, of the 30 international health plans on the market BCBS Geo Blue is the worst of the worst product for a host of reasons. Worse for an international audience, they take only Americans. I've been in the expat health insurance business for 30 years and wrote the ONLY book on the subject. I also cruised on my 43' Cat for 8 years. Caveat Emptor! For a 35 year old like these people appear to be they can get a decent hospital cover plan for $50 each per month including evac.

One thing you missed is that when you make an offer on a boat through a brokerage you must give a 10% earnest money deposit. That deposit can also be used as leverage against you with the threat of losing it if you back out for no good reason...

25A draw at 10 gph is pure fiction for this system. I have the exact same system and with ZERO pressure in the system the 1/2 hp motor pulls nearly 20A at 13.2V. Don't believe anything in this video about the water output or the system performance. I have consulted with experts and there is no way the system shown can have a 25A draw and produce 10 gph.

I kept my 1969 22' Columbia Sloop at Hammond OR and Ilwaco, WA for 20 years. I have no idea how many times I have sailed across the bar under from almost flat and barely a breeze to summer afternoons with way too much NW gales and 15 to 20' swells with the wind waves on top of of the big swells of 6' and the ebb smashing into those for some white knuckle moments in the crossing and breaking seas.. BUT.. good times and awsum memories.

Very nice footage, but I have to say I would NEVER attempt to sail there without Paper charts. Perhaps not perfect, but much better than not having anything when your depth transducer fails! Just started watching you guys, so will reserve judgement until I watch a while longer. Really a beautiful place tho!

A fun video. I've taken several commercial trips with Arizona Raft Adventures, their bus was at Diamond Creek. One of my best paddling buds is also a sailor, lives on St John, USVI. Did a GC private with him a few years ago. Have you guys done the Salmon?
