Hi Sam, love your channel and I'm making alot of your mods to my 2012 Westminster.. Quick question - have you changed your front fog lights? They seem to be yellow now with 4 bulbs? Can you share where you sourced them? I'm running the aliexpress ones you installed previously but I love those yellowish ones. Thanks!

Really great video man. I just purchased a 2024 Jaguar F-Type R. I'd like to have one of these things on hand for when the inevitable occurs, have some insight into provlems etc...I've read and have the impression that this iCarsoft v3 one you are talking about here is not a bad choice for a Jaguar, but one of the things I've read is that it will not give you back all the digits of the different codes, or something like that? So you you'll get 4 or 5 digits of what should be 6 digit code or something. I have the impression that perhaps a more expensive Autel device might give the full and best information? Do you know it that would be the case? I'm the type that, if I'm gonna put money out, I don't mind putting a little extra cash forward if I'm getting a more accurate/better tool. Just trying to decide if it is worth the extra expense upfront, and the need to pay 100 to 150 bucks a year to keep it updated. Try to avoid potentially putting good money over bad. I'm far from a pro, a DIYer for sure, but I'd like to have something useful that could help me get a bit more adventurous if I chose to etc...In any case, thanks again for the great video...Really useful stuff here...

Hi Sam I’m about 2 years behind you in my repair replace schedule I now need to change my air con pump couple of things - I’ve noticed the GAPIID is shows me no interior temp reading just says N/A I have seen elsewhere about pulling the front panel out to get at it and unclog - do you know anything about it ? I’ve have thought the climate control wpulsnt work properly without it second one is my ac pump shows massive ampage going to the solenoid controller I guess this is wrong too thirdly out of interest does the pulley on th front ever freewheel on the clutch or is it always engaged ( mine seems permenantlly engaged - thanks for an interesting and informative video as usual - I’ve got to do my oil cooler leaks too very soon

Great video, Sam - camerawork, views, emotions, meet-ups, road trip, camping, epic french views ... it's all in there. Pity about the St Bernard pass - did that about 15 years ago when my kids were young, 6 up in a disco 2 with trailer attached ... good times. That tunnel being built at the ski resort ... possibly a conveyor inside to return the skiers to the nursery slope render-vous?

Thanks Sam love watching your videos, great content and great detail which others can gloss over. I’ve had a 200,000 ml 2010 4.4Tdv8 Vogue Se (which at the time needed the turbo drain mod doing but I didn’t know about it at the time so she had to go, but apparently she’s still going strong) and now i have 150,000 2012 4.4Tdv8 Westminster which ive had a load of work done on. I’ve used AUTODOC previously but living in the England i believe if the order inc P&P is over £135.00 then you have to pay import duty or 20% vat, do you know if this is true?

Looks like an amazing trip. I’m at the moment deciding should I get another Range Rover probably 2016-2017 sdv8 or x5 or a porcha 4x4?. Rangey in ways I like the most, but the insurance has been up and down on it but lately it’s back to wear it was for me from jumping up to over 5k and know back to about 1k. That’s the only main thing making me weary of buying one.

Your partner"s saddle is too low on the bike. This makes cycling much less comfortable and efficient. If you raised the saddle she'd have better comfort and leverage.
@SamsMotors
@SamsMotors 12 күн бұрын
Thanks - it could look that way because these bikes seem to have slightly strange geometry - the handlebars are low, and the pedals seem to be mounted high in the frame. Her seat is set so she is on tip toes at a standstill.

Just came back from a 4000km trip through Europe with quite some serious offroading on Corsica. I have a 2003 TD6 and bought pretty much the same tent as you Sam two years ago. In my opinion there are few better cars to do these kind of trips. Did 1400km in one go on the way back thanks to the amazing seats and the comfortable ride.
