I stupidly believed the Maxspect marketing lie that its Gyre 350s are near silent and bought a pair. I can clearly hear them kicking in and out from 10m away when set at just 50%. One of them seized after 5 months ! My tank is in a living area so I might just ditch the Maxspects and buy some Jecod DMP 40s

Can you use AB+ on these lights? Was looking at the Blue variant that is meant to be a copy of radion blue but the LEDs aren't the same colors. It has no red or lime i dont think. And sky blue instead of cyan

You are no better than ecotech. For the same price, I can get a lithium phosphate CAR battery and the pump will run for over a week.

Someone did this already. And no noise and worked just fine. So the noise your getting is a bad wet side.

I been saying this for 2 years. They make the radions for echotech. Echotech does not make anything in house any more.

Your tank looks good! I love montis myself, my favorite is tubbs stellata. I agree that montis doesn’t grow fast when they are small frags, but after that boom they just grow and grow! Though my montis took a hit when I had monti eating nudis. Sixline wrasse solved the problem. Happy reefing!

I will be interested in whether the wet sides last longer than Ecotech MPs , sick of the ceramic shaft falling to pieces due to the steel shaft from rusting inside it. Junk!

Man the coral I regret is monti cap. I got one the size of a dinner plate and it’s crazy fast growing the other is about half the size but man they are a pain in the butt. Your tank looks great!!! Oh by the way I got 2 Dmp 40 now because of all your videos!!! They both in my 180 gallon love them!!! I would have never spent 500 on a mp but 150 of a dmp yes sir!!!!!

This is great. Both my gen 1 MP10s finally failed. One 6 months ago, one last week. They were 15 years old, each on Thier 3rd set of bearings. They don't power on anymore. I was dreading buying one mp 40 to replace them and I came across these online.

Delivered and installed here. Ready for the next part so you can tell us how to stop the date and time update from regenerating. It wouldn’t make much sense with the price but I wonder if the g6 upgrade kit would work on the SE.
