- Giving it attention and awareness - Being in physical proximity, physical contact - Connection (physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, etc) - Taking good care of it, helping to meet its needs, sheltering it from excessive trauma, fear and or suffering - Taking its agenda as your own, making its agenda and it an extension of you - Treating others as well as you would like to treat yourself - Be happy when it succeeds - Wanting for it what it wants for its own, even when it may be very different from your own - Sacrificing for it on its behalf, and work on their behalf - Supporting, nurturing, and encouraging what is in alignment with their self-expression, self-exploration, and self-actualization; being a cheerleader - Respecting its sovereignty, not holding yourself as better or more dominant - Total acceptance of it as it is, absence of judgment - Valuing the thing for its own sake, not for what you need - Appreciate them as they are - Seeing its intrinsic, infinite beauty - Not needing anything from this other - Respecting their point of view, wanting to understand their point of view - Listening and caring about their interests, sharing common interests - Sense of togetherness and company, collaboration - Being there when the other feels down, hopeless, at their lowest - Helping the other to not feel lonely - Validating its feelings, empathizing (“How are you feeling?”) - Sharing emotions - Caring about its suffering for its own sake - Meeting the other where they are at - Understanding and forgiveness, not demonizing and moralizing them - Being patient - Seeing the god and the good in them even when they don’t - Recognition of its uniqueness - Generosity and kindness - Verbal approval and praise, compliments - Keeping your promises - Maintaining peace - Telling the truth - Safety and trust - Seeing the other’s realness as it is - Appreciating the finite portion of consciousness as it really is, out of the infinite consciousness - Fully accepting, and not be disturbed by its selfishness, and not wanting to change it Love = Selflessness

The outside of your life becomes your inside. But you know what? The outside was always your conscious pushed out. Love to you Leo.

Beautifully said! 💛 I have a question though. When I chose to BE love, I can only do so for two to three days at most, then I realize that it takes a toll on me to give so much undivided attention to those around me. It’s like I let others pull me into their life and when I pull out of it I feel though that’s not loving and then I’m down on myself for it. Are you always giving it your all 24/7?

Not everybody takes 2+ hours time, so here my summary: „The path to making yourself more loving is the path to God.“ 00:00 Introduction, Leos personal context 04:30 Animals can only live when they receive love, otherwise they die 06:10 The reason for that is that reality and animals are love 7:00 How in practical context is love given (to human)? 8:10 List how to practical Love: 1. Attention or awareness an time to the subject 2. Physical contact and proximity 3. Connection: physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual(deepest) 4. Taking care of the subject, care about its needs and help it to survive and exist, creates bias and attachment to the subject 5. Preventing (the most, so the subject can handle) suffering, fear, trauma for the subject (parenting). Intent: independence of the subject 6. Defending it, being loyal 7. Taking its values and prioritys for us and extend ourselves with that. Treating it as ouselves. Makes us vurnerable, makes its survival our survival. 8. Treat others as good as you want to be treated 9. Be happy about their successes as much as for yours 10. Wanting for it what it wants for itself, not what youself want 11. Sacrificing for it 12. Encourage it for itself, not for you 13. Respecting its sovereignty, not trying to mapipulate it, repect that you are neighter above nor below it 14. Full acceptance of it, no need to change it 15. Valuing it for its own sake 16. Appreciate it as it is, seeing its beauty 17. Not needing something from it 18. Respecting its point of view, wanting to understand it 19. Listening and caring about their interests 20. Sense of company and collaboration 21. Being there when they are hopeless and at their lowest 22. Helping it not to feel lonely 23. Validating its feelings (emotional connection) Question: How are you feeling? 24. Share emotions 25. Meeting the other where its at 26. Understanding and forgiving them 27. Being patient 28. Seing their goodness and God in them even when they can‘t see it 29. Recognizing its uniqueness, honoring its uniqueness, complimenting that 30. Generousity, kindness 31. Verbal approval and praise 32. Keeping your promises 33. Peace and trying to remain peace, conflict kills love 34. Telling the truth, not lying 35. Safety and trust, sacrifice in order to remain that 36. Seeing the others realness, wanting to see it how it is, not in another way 37. Accepting its selfishness, not wanting to change that 01:11:00 Summary of this list: Love=Selflessness 01:12:10 The purpose of life is learning to be less selfish 01:13:30 What is breaking love? 1. Violence 2. Abuse 3. Hate 4. Anger 5. Judgement 6. Critisism 7. Fear 8. Lying 9. Exploitation 10. Cheating 11. Stealing 12. Neglect 13. Not making time for 14. Not listening 15. Control 16. Domination 17. Manipulation 18. Demonization 19. Moralization 20. Blame 21. Disrespect 22. Ridicule 23. Breaking promises 24. Projection 25. Gaslighting 26. Not caring about the others suffering 27. Punishment, esp. for making mistakes 28. Revenge 29. Close-mindedness 30. Trying to change the other 31. Ultimately: Selfishness 1:15:00 Visualization to proof the lists before valid and true 1:22:00 What made you feel loved as a child and in relationships? 1:28:25 Intimate relationships are hard because most begin one to use the other as a vehicle to fulfill their selfish needs. 1:30:00 About conscious relationships 1:34:00 Date spiritually developed people 1:36:00 About parenting, marriage and Self Love 1:38:00 Two sides of spiritual development: Metaphysical love contemplation as a whole on the one end, practical love to other human beings and subjects on the other side 1:42:10 Life is a training ground for being a good lover (new paradigm) 1:44:30 Summary: What is love? Love=Connection 1:46:00 People tend to live life in a shallow way, how do you go the other way? 1:48:00 How deep do you want to connect with the infinitely deep reality? How can I connect deeper with a thing I like? -A question that creates Life purpose when contemplated for years, this valuable investment needs time, much time 1:54:00 Love makes you do your best work, love is the desire for union 1:55:30 Love grows and expands yourself, love is the fuel for that, love is care beyond your limited self, love is seeing perfection and beauty in reality 1:58:10 Love is infinite diverse 1:59:00 Bias prevents you from caring about everyone, God is infinitely selfless, you are god but not conscious of that, awakening is the process of god realization 2:02:00 Dont beat yourself up for not loving perfect as layed out here. Have compassion for yourself. Strive to be less selfish, less fearful, that is sufficient. Love genuinely at you own pace. Less honest love is better than more shallow fake love 2:06:00 Life becomes more about helping others trough love 2:06:20 Love is never a license to stay with a toxic and abusive partner or other person. Learn to love yourself. Set boundaries. Leave. Get into a safe environment to grow your capacity to love. 2:09:00 Check out Leos life purpose course with new material, also have patience with Leo not being able to live up to his own love ideal. Develop compassion for your own selfishness and trough that for others. I hope my summary is helpful for some people, thank you Leo for sharing this fundamental episode with us. As a westener I found it interesting how in India male friends will hold hands on the street, simply because they appreciate the other and want to show affection. It has nothing to do with sexuality for them, it's just a way to connect a bit on the physical level. In the west, male friends have a difficult time connecting on the physical level due to social norms and fears of gayness etc.

As adults we become tough and "confident" behind a persona facade. That's actually fear I now realized! There is a deep lack of love generally in our human society. This was what I thought of when Leo described how vulnerable a baby human or monkey is compared to what the world could do to it. Fear can be seen as love too, but as a cosmic trick of separation.

The essence of love is the desire for all living beings to find true happiness. When we want the best for ALL creatures, then we can honestly say that we love everybody equally. One who appears to love one person more than another, in fact, loves nobody. True, unconditional love revolves around sacrificing one’s selfish desires for those of his or her SUPERIORS, whether that be one's parents, husband, employer, or spiritual master, even if they are imperfect. Should a child disobey its mother just because the mother is flawed? Of course not! This paradigm is applicable to EVERYONE, without exception. Even World Teachers and Avatars Themselves regularly worship their Masters and PAST Masters!

@@SpiritualPsychotherapyServices I agree with your first part, that love is equal. It can often still mean that we spend more time with some people than others, but true love is equal for everybody. The second part I disagree with since sacrifice to me means a disregard of the self, and that's a split, an inner conflict actually, since love is wholeness in harmony, so one must include oneself in the love, not sacrifice oneself.

@@Anders01 would you consider MURDERING animals to be an act of love?
@Anders01
@Anders01 2 жыл бұрын
@@SpiritualPsychotherapyServices No, we are still living in a "fallen" state of good and evil. And evil is a lack of love. But the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil" is like fear a cosmic trick. So evil can be included in Leo's concept of absolute Love. My definition of love however is wholeness in harmony, and murder is disharmony one could argue, at least from our ordinary perspective of worldly events.

Question: 7:05 - 7:33 Answer: It is just there. It's as simple as that. They are just being there. That is love in of itself. The feelings and sensation(s) of that are felt through the energy of the moment. Energy is what is felt. Beauty is what is seen. Love is what is.

Honestly it’s been 5+ years that I’ve been listening to Leo, and I’ve never connected with any of his videos the way I did with this one. It really is difficult knowing all this information and wanting others to be on the same level or the level your at and not immediately judge, but when you sit back and understand the way love with a capital L works the judgments are laughable

Im working changing my people pleasing behavios, and I realized I'm always very nice and happy and everyone comments on my smile but it's not coming from a place of happiness. My aunt is happy. She is so happy that she makes you happy being around her and she just pours love over you just because she's so happy to see you. She makes you feel so loved and special and it's literally just because she's that happy. I never realized a difference but I was coming from a place of wanting them to be happy or trying to be happy or to make them happy. I kind of hurts my feelings to realize that I used to think I was so loving but it's not loving at all it's actually kind of selfish and weak.

Love is like an extreme form of openmindedness. Your mind/consciousness is so abnormally open that reality itself becomes less material and more fluid - similar to being on mushrooms. This kind of openness correlates with high creativity because a lot more novel ideas are floating into your field of consciousness. But your mind is so open that these ideas literally start to morph your material world. A coffee table could start talking to you and giving you novel ideas. The trade-off is that your mind is less buttoned-up, so it literally starts to feel like you're going insane. What ordinary humans consider to be "hallucinations" not really hallucinations (since everything is a hallucination), they are just God's imagination - Infinite Imagination - at work in non-ordinary states of consciousness. How would you react if all the sudden your coffee table started to talk to you? Would you be open to listening, or would you freak out and run to the doctor to put yourself on meds to suppress it? Most people would freak out because they don't have a proper context for it. Under the materialist paradigm the only context is that you're going insane. But if you understand how consciousness works then there's really nothing wrong about it, you just have an extra-open mind. You know what happened when the US military gave LSD to soldiers to make them better killers? The soldiers refused to fight each other because they experienced too much love. You literally have to be very closed-minded to kill people! We take a kid from from Iraq and we throw him to a new planet with an alien civilization that is a hundred thousand years more advanced than humanity with teleportation devices and weird hovering technology and telepathic communication abilities and all sorts of crazy stuff, they figured out how to make their bodies immortal. Right so all this crazy stuff that they figured out from the wildest Science-fiction movies. We plop a kid from Iraq into that for a day and then we bring him back. That's a little bit more what it's like to take a psychedelic. At last they declared to me that I was becoming dangerous and that they should lock me up in a madhouse if I did not hold my tongue. Then such grief took possession of my soul that my heart was wrung, and I felt as though I were dying; and then . . . then I awoke. Appearance without substance. Everything is a hallucination. So this moment right now is a hallucination. It's always been a hallucination. That's what reality is. In psychology hallucination means perception without any input or data. So traditionally if you go to a mental hospital and you're telling them that you're seeing Love running around with stripes and polka dots, they'll say you're hallucinating.
