I'm getting smoked by heavier riders when racing. Always leading in terms of W/KG but raw power is king on Zwift. Not taking it too serious though and just enjoying the exercise, so not complaining.
@RoadtoAКүн бұрын
@@thomassinikangas if you are leading in terms of w/kg you should be faster (depending on how much you are leading, and how much downhill on a course there is). If it's not the case, it will be more an issue of an efficiency and drafting.

Excellent. I wasn't going to say anything because so many others said it but I LOVE THIS FORMAT. As I said previously I am new to Zwift. Have only 'raced' a couple of times and I use the term raced very loosely. Everyone who comes here comes with a different background and for a different reason but for me finding your channel has had the biggest positive impact on my Zwift training and development and I am super grateful for the effort you have made in producing your content. As I also said previously I only found Xert through you and it has made a massive difference to my training. I watch these videos to better understand Zwift racing and tactics and for me this is EXACTLY the content I am interested in and getting to see your analysis and thoughts regarding your race brings a huge amount more to the experience of consuming your content. So, considering I was going to say nothing I have already said way too much. Great work. Keep it up. Love this format/style of video.

What i try to do in a really controlled sprint on the trainer is a caleb ewan technique , get yourself of the saddle body torso forward low over the bars , where your legs forward of the cranks , try it , I find it helps generate extra watts controllably , find your gear , switch one up under load if needed , try it

@@crankgreenwatts The reason why I am not livestreaming those races is simple - there's simply not enough audience for them. :) These races are usually about 30 minutes long, before sufficient amount people join the livestream the race is over (and KZbin doesn't promote replays of livestreams very much so most people would simply miss that content). @marcus_velo_99705 күн бұрын
Great progress - must keep it fun, where else can you find people to race 24/7 from around the world ... its just so convenient. Here's how I approach it. Z2 mostly Zwift (group rides, Tour Zwift etc 1-2 hours, 6 hours a week) , structured workouts Zwift (1 or 2 a week), outdoors more longer epic rides like today I did 80 km | 1800 m climbing. Racing on Zwift? I prefer the group rides where I can self seed and go hard for certain sections or whole ride, one problem I had was doing 'too' much intensity on Zwift, hammies sore for weeks. Now it depends what your targeting to keep fit, base - can't beat Zwift, increase ftp, Zwift all the way as its structured. A fondo must go outdoors for event specificity. Bottom line is do what you enjoy, eat right, have a 3 week on, 1 week rest cycle, happy days.

If your goal is to train efficiently and with Max result It should be a small part of your week, definately not the majority. 80 % should consist of solid endurance work, especially of you havent got 10+ years of training behind you. But yeah, once a week its great 🔥
