@@sinteleon And to over extrapolate, it really feels like one of the things they industry tried to kill based on reactionary feedback but it is inherently required in good long game / high replay ability titles. Great companies can hide or obfuscate but do not shy away from the inherent price of admission that is grinding and farming. In virtually every IP that it's been stripped out, so has the soul of the game. Seems to be a tight correlation that folks are kind of waking up to. Putting everything on rails with QoL to the 9's does not lead to long term life spans whereas the heavy grind/farm games from yester year still pulling player base a decade+ on.

I agree about Wolcen. I really liked the end game with needing to run the "maps" to earn currency to upgrade the city. I am a person who likes to have a reason to do something and find it hard to motivate myself at the end game. Adding this gives me something to focus on other than killing a boss. Boss killing is okay, but I just peter out after doing it once. This city thing looks like a great deal of fun, and time sinking!

Yo pohx, not that its a big deal or comes up often or anything lol, but when you're trying to get very specific frames on YT videos, you can use the comma and period keys while the video is paused to move backward or forward one frame.

I think another thing that the Currency market does that is lost on a ton of veterans: Not being at a huge disadvantage for not buying premium tabs. Being able to trade currency 4 currency without needing to spend on a tab specifically for it us HUGE.

a really cool thing with the atlas runners is if you just want to do a lot of heists you can do that while your map drops goes to the atlasrunners, which might help you sustain contracts, though you do miss out on the stand in circle recources for your ships.

Runwamithing is baasically Kanai's Cube. There ia god damn return projectiles in there, which is even better than nimis depending on the build. It majes up for every single nerf on this patch.

4:50 this will help me a lot. i don't like to deal with bulk sell on discord. sure there are credit system and most the time you won't get scam but you also sell them at least 30% cheaper than it should be. with this i can imagine spend 15 minute that i use to looking for repute bulk buyer to set up my sell tab instead. also it's won't be easy to manipulate the market. they can't just fix the price at lower value because those item will be sold instantly and if demand is high it will stay expensive.

I think there could actually be less bots controlling the currency trading after this. Gold is not tradeable, you have to pick it up yourself. That means any trade bots would have to go out and pickup gold themselves. Now, they've stated that gold will be fairly rare early on and then as it progresses to end game getting gold become more trivial. That at least makes it so the low effort early campaign botting shouldn't be able to keep up with an end game player. Also, since you don't get gold returned when cancelling orders, you don't have to worry about bots auto-adjusting their orders to undercut you constantly, they'd be out of gold near instantly.

As a very specific note, I really like how they've buffed so much of the block stuff as an answer to spell suppression. If you're primarily on the left side of the tree, getting capped spell suppression is extremely difficult, and getting capped spell block was also still pretty difficult. But with this new patch, getting block capped for both attacks and spells should be much much easier, thus reducing the FOMO from not have as much access to suppress.

Currency trading... I suppose it will benefit greatly. Personally I NEVER sell currencies of any kind, it just ehhhhhhh tedious. Maybe that's why I'm often poor in the league, there just wealth sitting there unsold in term of fragments, essence, fossil, scarab... They just SIT there doing nothing, I don't even use them. So with this new system, I guess I won't be as poor as before... NPC running map is also nice side income, there just SOOOOO MUUUCCHHH excess maps I got that I will never have the time to run myself after all. So I like that. Same for that Cowgirl ship trading thing, more side income. Likely very beneficial for casual like me.

Same, I didn't bother to trade most currencies outside of divine, chaos, regret and fusing and ended up sitting on full stacks of alteration and stuff. It will be interesting to see the effects but I am very optimistic it will just make the overall experience better without big downsides.

the gold will be a huge stop to botters and currency sellers who sell currency for cash and even will be enough to stop people spending entire day in hideout. the currency market will stop those annoying afk sellers who try to reduce prices i believe their all involved in tft group

Curious to how much bots will dominate the market if you need gold to buy the currency, and you can only get gold from killing monsters like they said. So the bots would have to farm maps, and also check the market constantly to be successful. There's so much to play around with for SSF both progression and end game that I might actually try to play for the full league length this time instead of just the month I usually play.

No more than they did before. And the gold also helps so I think it will be MUCH BETTER overall. But even if they did... trading with bots was the most pleasant experience in the past LOL. I don't think they have a negative experience with just trading. (farming bots are a different beast)

PoE Survivors would be pretty cool league for sure! I would envision it similar to the current 5 ways or Simulacrum, except enemies are spawned and run at you. Mapping component gives you bonuses and ability to interact with the out of map portion (similar to TOTA) and you move towards higher waves each time with more rewards but more deadly content.

a POE survivor-like spin off game would be the better pick I think. Theres a Diablo-esque survivor game called "halls of torment" that is SUPER fun and well made, so it can definitely be done.

I'm personally not in love with the league mechanic, but what I _really_ hope is that you consider a melee option as an alternative to Fire Trap. Being able to take advantage of the new buffs and having some variety to your always-excellent RF builds' secondary skills would be amazing, even if FT might still be strictly the best option for damage. Maybe something like Volcanic Fissure of Snaking or Molten Strike of the Zenith? Shield Crush of the Chieftain?

I’m not familiar with harvest and heist enchants, do these and the new runesmith benchcrafting take an affix slot, or is it on top of the normal affixes?

its above them all, so it does not take a prefix nor a suffix slot. it appears in light blue and if it is an actual enchant, then its above even implicits. which means you can have an enchant AND eldritch ichors/mods. or synthesis implicits.

What im looking forward to is having timers for the mechanics of the league so i dont have to sit there spending all my gametime doing the thing, i can set and forget while still pushing other content. Really looking forward to this league. I was also thinking the trading house will do really good in weeding out all those RMT people (seeing as how the majority of trades will be system managed so if you are trading 20 Divines for a crappy belt then it should be obvious who is doing RMT) and make trading streamlined more.

You have the limit order from a stock market where orders are executed at the limit price or lower, but you don't have the bidding like a auction after a time has ended. But both have instant buyouts. You can wait for a limit order to hit its traget though.
