Love this! I'm back in a standard for one of my books. I do a lot of collage work so seeing what you have done frees me up and makes me want to get back to cutting and gluing.

I love this video and everything you said. I got into the planner/journal community at the beginning of covid and quickly fell down that rabbit hole. Prior to that I journaled and colored and made jewelry, but that was the extent of it. When I found the online community I was in awe of everything out there. I share on IG and love looking at everyone else's creativity. The last couple months my anxiety has been high and I felt like all I was focusing on is the next "best" planner or journal. So I made a conscious decision to focus on other things such as getting back into my coloring. I had some TN inserts laying around that I wasn't going to use for journaling or planning so I put them in a cover and started my first art journal over the weekend. I can not draw to save my life, but I can collage, paint, stamp, and add all the goodies to the page. I've created two spreads so far and I can not even begin to tell you the joy that it brought me. I'm really excited to follow this path and see where it takes me. Thanks so much for sharing and encouraging all of us. Sorry for the long rambly comment 😂💙

I cannot throw away paper. Watching this video there is a reason I save my castoffs from diecutting. Some become stencils some just get stuck on something. I have a sense of accomplishment when I fill a journal. Thank you for sharing

i really love yer collages and I can relate when you say its like meditation when you are doing art, I feel the same way... that is how I recharge. I hope you put less pressure on yerself and release all the expetations..especially when it comes to yer family and others in general... you have nothing to prove to anyone but to yerself. continue to be gentle and always go with the flow...do what feels good, continue to act on yer passion, there is no way going wrong when you do that.
