The last timeI went to Ulverston, I got stuck behind Fred Dibnah with his steam tractor and little wagon on the way back, he had been to the Lakeside and Haverthwaite on his tour of Britain. It took me ages to get back to the main road, but since that was as close as I ever got to meeting Fred I didn't mind. 8-)

@@Baldfoodieguylifestyle I do indeed. I didn't recognise him until I saw that bit on the TV series a while later though. I stayed at the Bay Horse and appreciated the view and the food ( and the Stan Laurel tribute )

Living the dream gaz, pity you had to assemble it ,looks sturdy you could have a nice sideline hiring the e bikes out, something i would have loved to do 20 years ago, they've come along way.chunky tyres & comfortable seats are a game changer..

Not tried any no alcoholic drinks given up drinking as. Much as I was like you say a habit more than anything not an alcoholic not needing a drink but enjoying a drink 3!or 4 times a week nothing big may be 2 or 3 glasses of wine but feeling it’s to much so cutting down so will try some of your non alcoholic drinks thanks for the advice I am sure it will help 😊

Yeah, I get what you mean about those non-alocholic drinks. I suppose they are drinks for "non-alcoholics" LOL. I feel the same way about decaffeinated tea and coffee. I think, "like what is the point of this?" (especially when I worked night shifts) and then I found a drink called No Caf made by Whole Earth and I absolutely love it. I still have my normal teas and coffees but late at night I will have a cup of that, and I love it. It's just a really nice drink in its own right. I suppose these drinks all have their purpose and their place. I suppose if someone were at a party and didn't want to be too obvious about not drinking alcohol for whatever reason, they might like those drinks. I remember when I was at junior school we used to drink shandy Bass, which was actually about 2% alcohol and nobody batted an eyelid! We used to think we were really grown up and hard loooooooool, but it was a really nice drink that I really miss now as they don't make it anymore. In any case, you're doing a great job with the reviews and have come a long way since you looked all battered up after your fall. I really enjoy your reviews, particularly on the Aldi stuff as that is my nearest supermarket. I'm gutted they'e stopped doing their garlic butter as it was my all time favourite! As an idea, why don't you start doing cheese reviews? They've got a load of fancy cheeses in Aldi these days. I noticed them when I was buying my Gruyere.

A relative close to me is in stage 4 liver disease - looking at a transplant. After seeing some of the horrid things when she was in hospital over Xmas had kicked me up the backside. Love whisky and got into the habit of having a few over the weekends and it also started to creep into week nights too - gave all my booze away and not had any for six weeks …. I’m plan to never drink again after seeing what my relative is going through. All the best dude

Hi my friend - as a recovering alcoholic I personally would avoid the alcohol free and certainly the 0.5 stuff. It’s a short step with the flavour tricking the brain and lots have ended up thinking they can drink normally again. Take care buddy, Silvo🙏👍

7:24 I don't like the colour or the huge tyres, which look out of place on, basically, a bicycle. They would be better suited on a motorbike. I went to the website and found that other colours are available. I would choose yellow or blue.

Wow that does look good and you covered it well. Ive loked at e-bikes and e-scooters a few times. Ive got them penned in fir my eighties, as i think id lose my fitness if i had one. Plus you really need a garage. Carrying that up stairs would be an issue. Well done. 😊
