The partners are for the when you knock each other to the other platform... The only part that separates into light parties is also that part lol

This fight will seem like it hits very hard, but once people get better gear mitigations will be more manageable. I've made it to enrage in PF twice now, hope in a couple weeks I can still get clear parties otherwise I'm SOL haha.

I feel sorry for Hector. All he's doing is providing us with an amazingly well crafted guide to help us with difficult fights, all for free and yet people still find something to whine about. He's not the one telling people to refer to the strats as 'Hector strats', there's no reason people should take umbridge with him whatseover. He's out here doing a service to all players.

What exactly is the "RMMR/HTTH" I keep seeing in PF strats? I have yet to see a guide explain this. Is that an Aether DC designation for spreads?

1:26 ive done a few practices rounds and ive noticed something from the last couple ive done. Dunno if anyone else commented but you don't need to hug the wall. You can go wait either the A or B markers after the second line to wait. it makes dodging and moving into the top of the marker much easier

@HectorHectorson Why not having THMR for congaline? If someone messed up, soo many circle debuff on short lenght southside. Get your healers on safeside first.

A static i'm in is currently doing this fight, and we were flipping out because we managed to get through the transition with no LB and dumping all of our mits. It was great. 🤣

Why doesn’t the tether connect to me when he does regicidal rage when I’m close to him it literally ends up killing me cause I have to position myself on the opposite side.

Yeah that’s called enrage think of it as a dps check. For endgame content After x amount of time if the boss isn’t dead you wipe

Is there a specific reason you don’t show actual gameplay footage? Being able to have the in-game comparison to a mechanic you described would do wonders as, personally, the lack of it makes your guides.. not effective as all for me and probably others yet PF insists on them :(

I just cleared my first on/near-release EX since ARR with help from this guide. The tip about visualizing the swords as “sliding” towards the middle as well as looking for a non-glowing sword to find a safespot were particularly helpful. Thank you and great work!

Went into this blind with blind group and we managed to get half way into ice phase. Nice to see the mechanics so condensed here. Really makes it easily digestible. Will try to get a clear today! 💪

They definitely missed an opportunity here for a unique enrage. It could have been "And the boss transitions to ice phase, and you get a double avalanche, causing you to fall off the arena."

Thank you so much! My only gripe is how the markers are set up, not being color coded for the light parties, like 2b and 3c on the same side where you would go for cone and donut makes more sense to me and would reduce confusion in pf pugs, but that was incredibly helpful!

More than anything, I appreciate the spoilerless title and thumbnail. While I know Trail #1 was announced long before the game's release, I had managed to avoid it only to get spoiled by another recommended video before making it there in the MSQ; when I wasn't even looking for content related to it. Little tip for the volcanoes if they’re giving you trouble! Always look towards the same one~ if it’s erupting, run away, if it’s not, run to it! This makes it so instead of looking back and forth, you’re focused on one location

I just did p4s unsynched with some from my static and randoms from pf and I can say, you only need to do 1st mechanic of phase 1 properly and you can just skim through pinax 1 and yolo most of the stuff (just don't get knock backed into death wall), if your DPS isn't trash it should be phase 2 by now On phase 2 you should know up to act 2 and will be able to kill the moment act 3 is about to happen if you did well prior (no DPS deaths and few to no damage downs) and DPS isn't trash but you should know what to do act 3 just in case aswell and that's it lol This is following hector guide
