Compact Titanium Cook kit with locking lid Review | Wild Camp Cooking | Easy King Prawn Linguine

A review of the SilverAnt Outdoors 1600ml compact lightweight titanium cookset with locking lid and 750ml titanium frying pan with folding handles.
Wild Camping in a 5000 year old stone circle with stunning sea views in penmaenmawr snowdonia national Park Wales.
Cooking a tasty quick and easy filling Wild camping meal to test the cook kit out properly whilst out on a camp, Cooking king prawn linguine with parsley , garlic, tomato and red pepper sauce with fresh spring onions and chilli 🌶 , a delicious meal that took no time at all and enjoying the sea views out to the Irish Sea, the great orme and Anglesey, even the Isle of man could be seen from this location on this sunny day.
The cookset is excellent quality, a large 1600ml pot with folding locking lid, ideal for stews , pastas , rice's and other camping and Bushcraft meals , it can be used on a stove , fire , alcohol stove , the 750ml frying pan with folding lid is perfect for frying up your basic camping food.
SilverAnt outdoors kindly sent me this cookset and the 1500ml titanium bottle to try out and give my honest opinion, the cookset performed perfectly on this snowdonia Wild camp.

A neat stove there Gaz all nicely packed for use. I would certainly consider purchasing such a set up. You couldn't have picked a better spot to share it with us or cook the Linguine - food with an ancient twist to it. Mark

very good review there Gaz. I like the titanium aspect of the set especially. I'm rahter hooked on the old Trangia sets that I have but the SilverAnd set is a very good contender as far as I can see. Cheers, Warren :)

Nice one. I like the bottle and the pan is a nice size. Bit dubious about titanium fry pans though. I got one while ago with non-stick coating (Boundless Voyage?). Good in principle but utterly crap. Even with gas stove on low it burnt the pan (hot spot) and cooked the food unevenly (sausage and egg) - not used it since. Nowhere as good as Trangia mini fry pan. Nice meal BTW.

Thanks mate, I've had that before with titanium frying pans , food sticking and hot spots , my usual frying pan I like to use is the GSI pinnacle frying pan , really good quality, nice one mate , atb 👍

🤣 I was sent the titanium water bottle to try , it's 1500ml capacity, will come in handy for my camps and cook outs, think it's expensive because it's titanium, they sent me a titanium kettle to try too which is really good , I'm looking forward to doing a few cooking videos in the forest this autumn, winter, thanks lezley, hope you're well, atb
