2020 was the year I learned how fake social media was. I have a cousin, that made it seem she was in a near perfect marriage for years on FB. She ended up in a divorce. So much came to light that year of how naive i was to believe it. Not to mention, i have a cousin who takes pics of all her travels, yet won't show her home or vehicle. It's because it would make her look poor. A friend that takes pics in front of room showcases at furniture outlets such as Ashley, and posts them on FB. It's all fake. Believe nothing you see on social media, commercials or even news these days. It's all a big facade.

Left instagram and facebook 6 months ago and now my depression level is lowest , health is good because i no longer sit for stretch to do mindless scroll and watching life of people whom i even don’t know.

Thats exactly why I choose to share the reality on my blogs, because I hate these fake lives with no bad sides, no fails and nothing but success, happiness and everythings perfect. Some see the value of it, but i think many just want these fake lives, because reality never gets as much likes/views/suport/what ever as the perfect lies....

I don't use Facebook. Used it last time 8 years ago and just after 2-3 days I started panicking as I was not habitual of having interaction with strangers and strangers commenting on my photos. Finally I deleted my account and the app and since then I have not downloaded Facebook even once. And on Instagram I have a secret account about which no one knows. I open it only to read jokes . After seeing this video I am feeling much relieved 😌. Guys the feeling shown in the video I have felt that 8 yrs ago and immediately decided and left everything and I was only 14 years old at that time . And yes one more thing that I joined Facebook after my friends insisted me but after seeing the effects ................😌

used to be a heavy facebook and Instagram user. average used to be 4+ hrs a day on both facebook and Instagram. now its less than 30 minutes a month or something I cant remember. the best thing I have ever done to me. You'll not regret deleting or quitting facebook and Instagram. trust me.

Travel and Makeup industry is grooming just because we love to show off.

Its weird to tell people the way you look doesn't matter and you're beautiful regardless and its just media when you're trying to visibly look prettier with your makeup and hair coloured. If it was true surely you'd not change the colour of your hair or wear makeup??

The sad truth. I use my Instagram just to post ads on what products I'm selling. TikTok as well, but for those who do business personal branding is important too. Use social media wisely, dont do it for likes but instead to get engagement for your business. And keep in mind, whatever you get, give it back a portion to people who are needed. Help people, that circle will continue and you will be happy.

The sad thing is that now the parents give their children a phone when they're 5 years old

I tried to get into social media but no one cared. To know others have millions of followers liking every thing they do, and despite my best efforts I was completely invisible, a complete nothing, a ghost. It haunted me & still does.

It's been 1 yr off from insta and snapchat and 5 yrs off from Facebook.. never had Twitter.. and also has stopped posting photos on wp status .. yupp my life is peaceful now

No one is forcing you to have all kinds of social media accounts. Complete time wasting. Read books instead.

I never understand why people are so affected by their social media comments - those people don’t even know you, right?
