17:04 look at most of the lord names, along side the troops they are most likely early islamic turks like Seljuks/Ghaznevids/Karakhanids ect. However I'd go with Seljuks and Sultanate of Rum as they seem more like it and the bandits (although this is likely accidental) being local nomadic turkmens

my only memory of this mod was being stuck in a town because every time i tried to leave snake cultists would attack me, take me captive and drop me right off in front of it again, but I would always try and leave it right away before healing, because every night I would be graped in my dreams by demons/satan (not joking). fun stuff.

I don't know who you think watches these videos, but we've all played Fallout New Vegas and your explanation is quite literally 8th grade level discourse. So I noticed you said you don't see fogmen outside of the fog islands. Decent Spoiler ahead: Fogmen only initially show up in the fog islands unless a few things happen. 1. If you take down the holy nation, fogmen invade the nearby military bases. If the Southern Hive queen is killed or kidnapped, all southern hive locations turn into locations controlled by fogmen. I think some places in the western hive also turn into fogmen locations when the western hive queen is gone. So what probably causes the fogmen to be, fogmen is probably just something that can happen when a hiver loses connection to its hive in a certain way. Which is why the fogmen always seemed to be a never ending plague.

I was reminded of your parasite theory for the fogmen, knowing the origins of Deadcat maybe the cannibals are the results of some bioweapon used to destroy them. A sort of genestealer type gene modifying thing that forces them to eat nothing but human flesh making them eat each other. Beak things, skin spiders and blood spiders may have come from this same research being mixed with gene editing. Also on a side note, I started rewatching the videos of one of my favourite KZbinrs and he has a message at the end of all his videos that I think every small KZbinr starting out and putting out such bangers like you should hear : "What you do should never be considered content, it is art. Content is a word that in recent years has been twisted into meaning a means of grinding up all your skills, passions and aspirations into a gray slop that is meant for nothing more than the mindless consumption in the name of making a line go up to someone else's benefit. Your art in no way deserves that. Your art is innately a reflection of you through the act of its creation, and in no way do you deserve to be reduced to content." Charlatan Wonder.
