"Don't plan for there to be such a big wait." Five months later... I kid, I liked the adventures of Johnny Freight, it made for good listening while I did my own Starsector things.

Short paragraph ahead, but TLDR: KZbin rewards many uploads in a short span of time. These take longer to make, but I still want to make more. Hopefully soon. I'm genuinelly surprised by how many people ask for more Johnny stuff. I often forget there's an audience for them. I loved making the Starsector videos. This video specifically is one of the one's I'm personally happy with. The only problem with making them is that there is a certain pressure on me to get this channel financially viable (quitting doing my side jobs would be nice). It just so happens that KZbin's system rewards many uploads in a short span of time, both before and after monetization. There was an incentive to make videos that were less time consuming to produce (these take a bit of scripting/editing/etc). But that's not to say I've forgotten about these. Now that I'm a bit more adept at content creation, and now that the channel has gained a bit more traction, I feel more comfortable taking long chunks of time to work on real projects like these. Video I'm working on now is a video in this style set in Mount and Blade Warband. Johnny isn't dead either, just in cryosleep I guess. Thanks for watching/reading and thank you for being patient lol

I was actually wondering whether that first episode would get a sequel. After a while I thought it was a one-off thing, and I'm happy to be proven wrong. Great episode, I enjoyed it a lot. It's quite different from most Starsector content, and I would even say it's probably pretty accessible to new players or people not familiar with the game. At least, as someone familiar with the game that's the feeling I got.

Even if you are using a pitch changer for some of these voices, you still have a really good range of character voices! I especially like the mix of roleplaying and comedy. It's lore-friendly, but not taking itself too seriously. I seriously hope to see you get noticed more.

I suggest adding WhichMod to your modlist. It lets you know which mod anything is from (ships, weapons, hullmods, etc). There's also a similar mod that does the same but for planet industries, forgetting the name right now.

16:15 One thing I like to do when ship testing is to see how well it can take on higher class ships. It’s cool if it can punch above its weight, but I really just want to see how survivable the ship is when the odds are stacked against it. The wolf can’t kill too many targets above its class, but boy can it kite and hit engines while holding out for help.
