How did I miss this video? This is a cool set that I recently got on BL but sadly with the white bricks in a sorry state. I did have the 6368 back in my childhood days (and re-acquired this year). Now I just need to get the bricks sorted and hopefully at one point get hold of 6377.

The Susanne boat is wonderful. I’ve got one as well. I was really lucky someone obviously with no clue or interest sold it to me for only CHF 20 (about USD 20 ) few years ago!! I spent about the same amount for the missing parts on EBay.

Woah! Lego golden age! only 400 bricks for a space ship with several play functions! Today with 400 bricks you have a Speed Champions... with locked doors! I've got only one set from Ice Planet (6834: Celestial Sled), because spase wasn't my cup of tea... i'm still team town!

it's for me also not 100 percent my favorite theme, but a nice display piece, is a just a nice display piece :-) i think it looks especially nice with the orange parts. And i also got it for a good price on my hunt for vintage sets!

What a coincidence, I just bought the Ice sat V as my first Space set. I was never into space but the ad was cheap and it looked cool (pun intended) so I gave it a try.

I have a full collection with boxes and manuals of Ice Planet 2002 along with the rarest one - 1722 Combo Pack. Ice planet series was my dream to collect for over 25 years. It's good to fulfill our dreams - even as an adults :)

I love the old sets even they didn't have all the parts from today the sets were still better in my opinion and made with love, today I have the feeling only money counts for lego, sad thing...I'm still looking for a good price on the internet but I would love building the Islands sets too 😄😍

if you look well, you can probably find a bargain. But it is a fact that sellers often ask a lot for their set. If a box and manual are not important to you, you can often find it at the cost price of the bricks, of course according to what it would cost today and not 30 years ago.

I had this set as a child and this brought back so many memories. Best part about it was releasing the forklift which launches the yellow boxes into the air!

I didn't know that the parts at 6:55 were rare, as I had the basic bucket which those as a kid and both of them are still with the remains of my childhood legos at my parents home, where my son and nephews still play with the pieces.

I still have my set. I recall the yellow containers being a more bright yellow with no sticker like Henry observes.

The color of the containers may have faded a bit but at that time there was only 1 type of yellow so I suspect they are historically correct. Only that sticker should indeed come off. But I actually think it looks nice with that sticker 🙂

yes it is, that's why I first thought the seller was asking 25 euros for just the box! But to my great surprise almost the entire set was in it and also the manual

Nice restauration. Luckily, my Suzanne, that I have since my childhood, has never been in that state. It was, indeed, complete when I brought it from my parent’s basement. Only one tiny part was broken (the tiny black piece at the top), and I replaced it quickly. It’s a very nice toy.

It's a nice set and I think the B-set is better than A as the boom is too short . Got that in a lot too together with 7745, 7835 and 7823 all but 7817 boxed 😲 Love the way you are presenting the sets in your videos.

It's really nice set, I have this one too "sadly" no box and missing the spring, but with the bricks and the instructions in perfect condition. You did a steal with this one and the stickers are an added bonus for this set. I'm now looking to get the 6392 airport from 1985.

Thank you for watching! airport 6392 is really great and I have it already in my collection for a while, but recently i also found the successor from 1990, namely set 6396: International Jetport, i will make a video about it soon! The stickers are indeed a bonus, but it's not historical correct 🙂

I have this set (got it as a child). Even as a child I thought it was perfect! It looks really dark and realistic. The technic wheels look cool. The round shields are very exotic, these must be very special soldiers. In my opinion the soldiers had a luxury vehicle with 4 clips and two brackets to hang all their gear on. And they have a lot of weapons! I think the green and white flag looks great with this faction. They later changed it for some reason. I appreciated how you trashed one of the other catapults which clearly is much inferior to this one 😅

Henry which police station do you prefer? eg this one or the one that came after it in 83?

They are both nice, but I find this one more interesting from a historical point of view. It is the first police station with real minifigs. And it does not have the typical blue color yet. Also the baseplate and the way the lamppost is built are nice, and also the helipad. And despite the fact that stickers were very popular, this set has some very nice prints and no stickers.

Tbh, so many collectors are complaining about if the box is in bad condition. Bruh I’m a broke kid I will never have an old set 100% complete 💀

yes, i understand you. but in any case you always have to pay a minimum and that's the value of the bricks, the minifigs and the sometimes rare parts. if it is only about the separate set without box and manual, you can find it for reasonable prices or do bargains. My challenge is to find the sets with box and manual in the best possible condition, and that of course costs a lot more and the search is a lot more difficult, but with the right experience you can do bargains too. But it can be even more extreme and even more difficult. There are collectors who collect every box in a sealed condition, so unopened. That is a much more expensive and a difficult collection.

In the old classic ones, i think it's the yellow castle with 767 parts and 14 minifigs. I don't collect modern lego or adult lego with more then 2000 pieces 🙂

Cool! Do you also have it complete with box and manual? Did you know that there has to be also an extra yellow tile 1 by 1 in the set? And what about the 2 stickers, did you stuck them on both sides? What's in short your opinion about it?

@@henrysvintagetoys yes, i bought it for about 75€, shipping included, for a complete set with a box and a manual, both in great shape (my box is even better than your, with no rip) and I have the second sticker still in his original paper, so the original owner only used one, like in yours. Sorry, but neither my copy has the extra part which is listed on bricklink... the only piece worst than your is the tree because its base it's a bit ruined and the tree tree is difficult to stand

yes. That one is actually on my to do list since recently! I found a nice copy complete with box and manual. When I have all the information and have looked at the set in detail, I will definitely make a video of it!

I don't follow the newer Lego that much, I don't collect anything after 2000 :-) I had to look it up, you probably mean 75903 Haunted Lighthouse from 2015. Yes, especially the design of the skull and the play feature look the same. Did you know that there is also a vintage pirates set that looks also similar, 6248: Volcano Island from 1996. If I come across this on my hunt, I will buy it too. It is a set with significantly fewer parts, only 119 and 2 minifigs
