Nice Review! I'd liked to have the set when I was a kid. But LEGO never was cheap and so that wasn't possible. Nowadays the prices are even more intensive

you are right, but when you have luck, you can find it for a good price, if you just want a loose set with manual (no box or inlay)

Such a beautiful set! Crane have very interesting elements for its legs, didn't see it in more modern sets. Also, always interesting to see how Lego uses same techniques throughout a years - modern lego boats still uses this rounded bricks on a bottom to better slide)

indeed. And I'm also fan of the mini-crane on the boat and boats in general. I have done some nice finds that I will show on my channel soon. for example set 4015: Freighter, which has a similar mini-crane but with a full option winch like the castle sets, even though it was only 1982!

Fantastisch! Ik vond het alvast leuk om te doen. Zoals ik zeg in de video: veel afwisseling en het zijn eigenlijk verschillende mini-sets die je bouwt in een groter geheel! Have fun!

@@henrysvintagetoys ik heb de stickers die jij niet hebt en ik mis de stickers die 'diana' als opschrift hebben lol. Maar is inderdaad een supermooie set, de city liner is er ook een moderner zusje van, die heb ik laatst gebouwd en is echt HUGE

Thinking about getting this set as well, I'm in the process piecing it together but it might look like it will be cheaper to just buy the set. BTW this channel scares my bank account 😅

If you look carefully on auction sites that are not eBay, or at flea markets and fairs, with a bit of luck you can find this set without box and manual for 60 euros. It is still worthwhile if you are a frequent user of Bricklink to find out what it all costs. the baseplates, the feet of the crane and some other parts will be more expensive, but the rest can in principle be easily supplemented.but if you really have to buy more then 500 parts from scratch and also the minifigs, then it seems to me that it will be very expensive. It is ideal that you find the set cheaply somewhere that is not complete and you only have to buy or look for certain things to complete it! Good luck!

I have got the Harbor and I think it was a remake before it was cool: there is the crane, the big boat, the fisher and the lighthouse...

This is the original. I like it because of there are a lot of mini sets in the set that makes it a one whole

Ik heb eens een vraag. Volgens de bricklink inventory staat daar 3x thin string. Maar ik kan neerregens vinden hoelang die stukken touw zouden moeten zijn. Zou het mogelijk zijn dat eens te meten evt? Ik heb het stukje dat aan de vislijn vastzit maar de rest mis ik nog. Alvast bedankt. Mvg

Omdat de grote kraan ook de containers op de baseplates en zelfs in de boot moet kunnen zetten, heb je daar toch wel een model van minstens 50 cm voor nodig. Voor diegene op de boot heb ik gemakkelijkheidshalve ook eentje van 50 cm gezet maar kan eventueel ook met een kortere. De vislijn kan een kort model zijn van 25 cm.

Do you own any Technic sets

I've had technic sets when I was a kid, such as 8040: Universal Set and 8660: Arctic Rescue Unit, but I don't immediately plan videos about them. In the future I will make a few videos of lego sets that include some technology and engines. Such as set 912 which I now have completel and also some nice train sets.
