I saw 1.3g cylinder airmass on your log and said how tf is that car making 975rw then you mentioned chopping numbers out of the maf for the port injection. Ive never tuned anything with that port injection system but i did just tune a car with dsx atlas port injection. Really good results

I put 2” LT’s with no cats n muff delete, mannnn I live I a quiet town full of Karens, I drove it like that for a few days then put hi flows on. It was crazy loud til I piped it down some w the hi flow cats, even still. Idle n under 3-4 k rpm is cool. When I put my foot on the bell housing, it tends to make some real noise. Everybody always asked me what I got for exhaust on my car. I just tell him two inch long tubes, high full cats and straight pipes and it sounds so good not having to spend all that money on some thousand dollar Cat back system all I did was bought a tailpipe Set! Good to go!!

You can run 10psi if you increase ring gap. But if you’re that far into the motor…just drop in new pistons.

This video and explanation of how confident you are with too high port injection makes me want to send my car from PA to you but I’ve already had everything else done by a shop in Philadelphia Matt with the stock bottom end what would be your suggestion to limits of running this setup with the stock bottom? My cars top end is built with the magnuson and heads and cam which running 841whp on 93. My car runs fantastic and big part of me wants to keep it that want I just ordered the THPSI lid. I’m considering doing port injection however I I don’t want to blow my engine.

@@joeagnoni7112 The reliability of the rods and pistons depends on the power adder type and where the power is made. With a Magnuson or Whipple the power curve is pretty flat and makes more power at lower rpm vs. a centrifugal or large turbos. 1000rwhp or slightly over is my comfortable limit on a Magnuson lt4.

Matt - the only thing I'd like to ask about dynoing intakes with the hood open is, what would the HP results be like out on a road course after 15min of running with the hood closed? Which intake would be better then?

Let me guess ? Speed Inc Hack job? They did this build on my 2020 zl1 1le, first day I picked up my car it showed check engine with 6 codes, oil leak antifreeze leak, and so on. I picked the car in march and in April my brand new lt4 was blowing white smoke 💨, in between that time the car went back 5 times for one issue or another ( I didn’t even get to enjoy the car)Bottom line I did one good pull and catastrophic failure and this my second build on the lt4 platform because I sold my first zl1. Their tow truck driver was telling they were having a lot of problems with cars going back because of either their tuner, their builds, or both and he referred me to a more reputable shop. new shop said their tuner Jim was throwing too much timing at it, half their cheap brass rockers were torqued between 32 and 35lbs, cheap lifters on the market, hoses kinked, catch can wasn’t hooked up properly, rocker screw just sitting in between the springs FOR GOD’S SAKE, and instead of replacing the oil dipstick where it was leaking they glued it and it was still leaking all that time and so on and so on. Glad you got this customer situated

Man I might need you to tune mine. I’m from Texas and the car is pushing I’m sure above 15 lbs of boost as it pegged out the gauge with 2.38 upper and 10% lower. Some tuners have told me that it was fine but I don’t think so. I want it to be safer and have a heat exchanger with e85 and it barely put down 703. Any recommendations ?

There is a huge flaw with this Dyno test concerning a C5. In the real world the hood is closed and that Haltech is sucking in hot air from the engine bay. Breathless, Callaway and Vararam are breathing ambient air. Shut the hood for a few min while the motor is still hot. Less o2 less power. That and the ecu is.going to pull timing.

Actually, when the car is rolling normally, the movement displaces the hot air. But on a dyno, it isn't moving. Opening the hood helps simulate what the engine bay temps would be if the vehicle was moving.

Did you do the triple pump just because or is it needed w under 1k wheel? Fore numbers said dual pump kit supports 1k wheel on e85. I was hoping to see your low side fuel pressure on the log

The triple is not needed at this power level. For a little more money it future proofs the system if more power is ever wanted later with a built engine. Base pressure is set to 60 psi. The regulator adds 1 psi per pound of boost on top of that.
