I'm gratefully one of the first to get my hands on the upcoming WinWing Sim EFIS for flight simulation - an extension to the WinWing FCU, this bit of new kit adds on and helps complete the glareshield look, control QNH etc and throughout the video we put it to the test with the trusty flybywire A32NX in Microsoft Flight Simulator!! great video, I ordered both for my Desk but it looks like you can get away with one... 🤔. Oh well if I dont have enough space Im sure there will be somone who will buy the right one :) Did you have the brightness down? altimeter looked kind of dim in the video..

@@mikel5077 yeah I didn't have much space with my setup for the R one so only installed L in the end. Brightness was fine for the altimeter thing but the GoPro didn't quite pick it up properly 😬

Came here after watching Easyjetsimpilot's review too. He complained about the lack of instructions and he also mounted the brackets on the back, and the thing kept flopping forward due to weight. He did not use the sticky pads like you. I think I'd rather not use the sticky pads because at some point I want to get the Boeing MCP (when it comes out) and I want to be able to easily swap between the two without ruining my desk. Apparently the manual uploaded to the Winwing website says if you're putting it on a desk and not mounting it to a frame, you're supposed to put the brackets on the sides? I'm wondering if you'd tried that? Does it seem sturdy doing it that way if you have the EFIS+FCU+EFIS all joined together? I suppose the alternative is to keep the brackets on the back and then wedge something underneath to stop it tipping....but that doesn't seem very elegant.

@@mdhazeldine absolutely - the three together are a bit more stable... I've put my brackets on in a narrower way just because of the monitor stand being in the way otherwise. I've got 1 sticky dot under each bracket too - there were no instructions in the EFIS for what it's worth but it's literally the same steps as the FCU for the brackets and then it's just one sata cable as shown in the video out of the EFIS into the FCU so not too bad

Hello, i see on Winwing's website that they sell the EFIS as a combo, but i'm not sure if the combo does includes left and right efis for $169.9, or is 169.9 per each efis? 😅

169 is the price for the combo (left + right), you can also choose to buy them separately.

Its there. It is just very dim due to the camera angle. Much dimmer than the display on the FCU but I suspect there is no issue and the two units have pretty much the same colour and brightness if not identical.

@@normwright4894 it's one sata cable I'd that's what you mean? Unless you mean the actual screw bracket to connect the two physically together in which case yes they're also in the pack

there are two brakets for joining EFIS together with FCU.

330 will definitely be compatible, 330 has same fcu design with 320s. Anyway 350 and 380 are simillar to 320, so it would be used with calibration
