Stephen told Wanda dreamwalking was a violation of nature of the highest degree, but then he dreamwalked into his own DEAD body. Two violations right there lol.

This scene does kinda indicate that Strange shouldn't be able to do this in No Way Home and onwards. The mirror dimension is just glassy and immune to damage but otherwise 'normal', the whole reality warping stuff is done by drawing on Dormammu's power. After the whole 'come to bargin' scene you'd think he wouldn't learn and then keep using the guy's power.

Because The Ancient One had been training for potentially centuries in both martial arts and forms of sorcery. She has mastery over them all and doesn’t need to show off. Wong is the same (albeit not trained or lived for as long), which is why he rarely shows off when fighting. Strange, however, has only been at this for about 4-5 years (excluding the 5 year timeskip that he was dusted for). He also has an ego and a flair for the dramatic, so shows off whatever huge flashy magic spells he can.

Also she has trained to deal with problems as she is dealing with them, so I doubt she has had time to experiment with flashy spells since she needs to actually run the temple and defend the world Meanwhile Strange had time to experiment while he was trapped in the dark dimension for hundreds of years
