Worcestershire sauce gives the gravy an awesome added flavor! I love SOS, but have never thought of making a casserole with it. I gotta try this!

What's crazy to me is the price of the dried beef, considering what it is. Ground sausage, beef, or cheap lunchmeat/corned beef is the more frugal choice.

Before you started the egg mixture, I was thinking, that this gravy feels like it could use a generous amount of mustard.

Artery clogging, but delicious. My uncle was a general, my aunt used to make shit on a shingle fairly regularly. Never with the eggs though, the gravy over toast

First, I would use fresh garlic and butter and fry some spicy organic cut paprica, use a freshly self-ground mixture of about 50/50 beef and pork, lean. The rest is easy with ground black and white pepper and salt at the finish to taste. Rub some egg yoke on the top before serving. My dad called this the "golden" SOS
