@@christopherrodriguez6545 im still running the bloomplus 3000 now. its not a r spec. but not bad at all for a budget light. id buy it again. or a bp4k or 2 2500s maybe for better spread (they have the meanwell drivers on those models now) the bp3k is has held me dow.. way over a g per watt. used it in both my 5x5 (tho it does miss the edge. it gives me room to get around for training/cleaning) and in my 4x4 it does wall to wall. mars. vivo sun maxisun all decent imo. there are lots of other off brands on amazon that work great too. i say just go for it. you'll pay for it in one run anyways

My tent is n the shed So I plan to use the same circle drill on the floor outside of the tent (shed is 2 2ft off the ground fyi) & attach a longer hose so I can easily reach the drain. I have a plug for the hole whenever I'm not using it btw I Ran 9 🪴 2 SF4000 in my 5x5 last run might of been a lil too much but no light burns. In Your opinion do u think 1 will enough? I appreciate the video, and the breath of information you tried to convey, but that only left me the novice confused. In a 4x4 tent growing hydro, which light do you recommend. I did a bit more research and my first guess for me is a HLG 600R. I want a one and done light that does not completely break the bank.
@PAHydroponics2 жыл бұрын
The light I am going to recommend is HLG's new Black Bird.. check out the link below. shop.pahydroponics.com/horticulture-lighting-group-hlg-blackbird-free-shipping/ It has the power, coverage and the spectrum. 100-600 watts dimmable. If you are set on the 600R I completely understand as it comes with a great reputation. Either way you will not be disappointed. -wayne

i got one of those generic knock off brands, Fecida... uses 65 watts says makes effectively 600 watts... i have two for my 2 x 4 , 2 plant closet and i'm liking it just fine. I'm sure i could do better and maybe in the future i can spend hundreds, but these were ridiculously cheap and emit amazing amounts of light... i just wish i knew when growers are saying 100 watt light do they mean electrical use or what it's putting out? (just like a 60 watt LED light bulb is rated as putting out as much as a 100 watt incandescent)....

@nategaudette42283 жыл бұрын
@@christopherkochvar5313 yea, ive never been a big fan of light movers myself, however they are a way to spread ur light if u dont have enough, theres no replacement for a steady ppfd rating tho. That being said, if those are what u got and what u gotta make due with, then theyll have to work, i would suggest u max them and hang them fairly high, 26-30 inches above the canopy or so and try to get as much spread out of them as u can. Good luck.
