I appreciate how you described your meeting with the ratsnake as non threatening, putting people at ease, showing that most all snakes are perfectly harmless. Most people want to kill snakes, no questions asked, because they feel threatened by them. I really enjoyed following your periodic story's about Leon and other family members.

I grew up in the country with 10+ dogs(taking in all the drop offs) but I also adore cats. I live in a small apt. atm and have 2 cats. Also, can I just say I love the Leon Saga and you're ever growing zoo. Cats, chickens, and jellyfish? Oh my! ^_^

I live in South Georgia, and I so envy the diverse landscape up north. Down here it’s just flat and filled with pine trees. The swampy areas are pretty with all the Cyprus, but I need to take a trip up north and see some waterfalls just to mix things up.

One of the reasons I don't eat animals is because I see them as beings not food. I just get sad at the idea of eating them.
@yoursugarismine7 сағат бұрын
Seeing him think and inspecting the claw and then moving it to the pile makes sad…and seeing him with only one claw makes me even sadder. He’s so incredibly intelligent like all animals and every time I see it I’m amazed at how majestic they are and smart they are

So sorry, Leon. I hope it comes back bigger and stronger…from an old fan, retired in the foothills of the Smokies. Sometimes a cocky rooster finds his way to freezer camp. You probably already know that if you catch the aggressive rooster, hold him down, pressing him down on the ground for a minute or two, sometimes taking a few episodes, it’ll solve the aggression problem.

Never thought I'd say a lobster was pretty. But that photo, and just how blue he is! Looks healthy too! Even though he's missing one claw!

I really like the bats but the one that’s dead is a diff that the 3 u found. Shouldn’t there have been more bats in that cave?
@Bradybrandwood14 сағат бұрын
Yeah, it was full of bats a few years ago, they were even hanging on the sides of the tunnel. Then a few years later, no bats at all for a while.

I am a cat person. I loved that you played the Furs for the chickens in the car! My neighbor in a wheelchair was terrified of a snake in her apartment. I removed it for her and released it outside. It was coiled up so I had to put a clear plastic bowl over it and push it out the door. I still didn't want to risk a bite. I did catch one at a horse show once and released it away from the ring. Those were both garter snake. Terrified of spiders though.
