The first two men were killed in self-defense, which would remove all the charges and the third man's homicide can be counted as either second-degree murder or first-degree manslaughter, because in the NY state you can be charged with first-degree manslaughter if the homicide you committed was done due to a strong provokation. Running away from the police is called "resisting arrest", not "escaping lawful custody". Not only the names of the crimes are made up, but also the sentences don't match the real sentences he would be given in the NY state.
