I usually wash once a week because of product build up but I get it, wash day can result in breakage because of all the manipulation..so washing less frequently can help retain length. Your hair is beautiful, keep growing

People know that but natural hair just gets so difficult that they’re willing to take the risk and I can’t blame them

May I ask how many times a month you do an Ayurveda traitement, specifically with added henna? Do you still do a protein treatment whiles using Ayurveda? I have been natural for 10 years and using Ayurveda herbs for 5, still learning and would love some information cause I am really trying to reach waistlength hair, godwilling 🙏🏽 You are such an inspiration, lots of love from Sweden ❤

oh really and I used to be ashamed to let people know that when my hair was relaxed I shampooed only when going in for the touch up which was probably about 12 to 16 weeks apart . my hair grew like crazy and that might have been because more frequent visits to the salon would end up in more frequent cuts that were supposed to be trims. I stopped allowing trims at all, 5 in is not a trim

It's your hair! It's beautiful. I personally can't go longer than 2 weeks, normal, 3 lazy, because I can smell my own hair and I don't like it🫤
@sable71144 күн бұрын
I have never smelled any odor coming from my hair, even if I had perspired, aside from perhaps something I placed in my hair that had fragrance in it.... not to cover up odor but just to moisturize or style my hair

This is no lie. Years ago, when the Soft Sheen Optimum relaxer came out with Amla, I nearly passed out after putting that relaxer in my hair. I was on the floor. My scalp was on fire, and I had not disturbed my scalp because I was putting in a relaxer. I seriously thought I was going to die. It took me so long to get the strength to get up and wash the relaxer out. I had never had that reaction before. That was the last time that I ever used a relaxer.

I went a year and some change, but it kept growing the whole time from a dirty scalp! If I could get the detangling under control, I'd wash it every 2 months.

I must say your products have made my wash day so much easier. I am a DIY girl who loves a good mask, but I can confidently use the products and still get the ayurvedic treatment 💕✨💕 My hair is definitely thickening and breaking less

Only people who have stringy hair say that but of course they would because their hair is different than ours. The stereotype is black people's hair or Africans hair won't grow. But that is far from the truth. it just grows in a different way. Our hair doesn't like to be bothered, manipulated and tampered with like their hair. Their hair doesn't mind being bothered, tampered and manipulated. That's the difference. That's the only difference
