I went natural in 2015 and have not used any heat in my hair not blow dryer or flat iron since then. However I did not start retaining length until 6 months ago when I changed my routine. I now moisturized and condition my hair each week and then put the hair in 2 braids. Then I remoisturize and rebraid once within the week. Since doing that I have retained length. I believe that is because I rarely manipulate my hair and keep it put away most of the time. When my hair is stretched its at collarbone length the longest it has ever been.

I love the revair best investment ever! I don’t even use heat protectant with it. (Not recommending) since I’ll be buying a new heat protectant but my hair is fine whenever I don’t use it with the revair. I even stick my finger inside the hose just to make sure lol it doesn’t even burn on high heat

Hi miss Janet 👋🏿, thank you very much for this video. I always appreciate our videos! From following your advice, I have seen significant growth retention in my hair within one year of my big chop. I had twa and it reached almost shoulder length within the year. I am now a below shoulder almost bra length. However, I may have to trim a significant amount because of issues with styling. I have tried braid outs, twist outs, wash and go’s, but I usually does not come out as desired rather dry and frizzy. I am high porosity, with medium density hair. Do you have any suggestions with how to style? I know you’ve showed your styling technique here but is it okay for you to give a detailed show of how you style your hair, based on what you’ve learned over the years, when it’s best to use the blow dryer, how frequent etc. 🙏🏿🤍

Gorgeous hair, about how many braids did you have in when you took them down around the 17:00 mark? Janet is the truth ladies, since I’ve been following her the past few months and using her retention tips, I’m finally crossing over bra strap length to mid back length. I pray that when it’s time for my trim in a month that my hard work will show and will only need a minimum trim. Thanks for helping us out, you’re a wealth of knowledge.❤️

Hi, I'm curious about how often I need to trim the tips/end of my hair as well as, how often I need to apply a hair mask on my hair that'd require Me leaving it in a shower cap for about 30mins to 1hr. Finally, I wonder if you're able to recommend a very good hair mask I could purchase, here in Manchester, UK where I reside. Thank you so much for your encouragement and help 😃🙏🏽🙏🏽

Greetings Ms. Janet. I somehow stumbled upon your videos and I would first like to say after glimpsing over a few I'm truly truly amazed at your journey. I have forward your videos to a couple of friends that I know have similar hair type as yours. After listening to what you were saying about the products it made want to buy them (although I don't need nan other product 😄) What I didn't realize is that they were your brand. So congrats on creating hair products for ppl where there lacked info and product ranges for our type of hair. However, I'm just curious if these products are for all hair types? I have more the Type 3 range of hair and I notice many ppl who use this seem to have more Type 4 hair. However I still want to order b/c I don't think these could really hurt my hair. I suffered sever thinning after a wearing a new uniform for work. The chemicals in the uniform caused many problems for ppl. And although it's been about 3 years now, my hair is still trying to regain strength and fullness, it grows, but it's just really weak and thin to me compared to before. I don't have very dense hair, and unsure of porosity, but it's always been finer texture, however, was always really full looking, so it seemed thicker than it actually was. Now not so much. So hopefully these products can help. 🙏🏽🤗 Thanks again for all this information and your hair is really gorgeous and so are you. 😊
