My homebirths are under 2-3 hours and I'm pregnant again: HERE'S WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO: Go have a Massage. A real one! Where they get rid of your muscle knots. IT FUCKING HURTS. Your first instinct is to hold your breath. But keep beating like you would during labor. Imagine that you are willing to relax that muscle that is being tortured. It's hard, i know. Everything tells you to tense up. Try to relax. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS. The more you fight it the longer it takes😬

Unmedicated?😂now this is how you call the natural birth. Here in romania there is no epidural fashion, like in the US ,if ewerithing is normal you dont get enithing ,ewen for a litle oxigen you have to scream, faint,or who knows, but they don't give you nothing from start

After my open abdominal fibroid removal last year : coughing and going to the bathroom 1/2 was the worst😖 the pillow in front helped quite a bit and it’s the sneeze and coughing. Nothing helped in bathroom had to brace myself. Oh boy, I’m in for it come June but that’s for the tips Also walking is a must. I had laparoscopic bariatric surgery and was walking 4 hrs after surgery nice and slow in the hall. After my myomectomy open abdominal I actually don’t remember doing my walk; it helmet more than rearranging my internal abdominal organs. Actually had horrible gas/spasm pains with the fibroid surgery 😢 it was a night mare

I had my first baby last week at 38 weeks. I asked for no epidural, labored for 9 hours and got him out after 4-5 pushes. He's 7lbs, 50cm. No words can describe how excruciating the entire labor was 🥴 I can say yoga helped me so much-didn't just prepare me physically but also mentally.

I think I had this with my first one although it was a bit more than 3 hours. I was induced with prostaglandin and no one wanted to believe me that I'm it a ton of pain. Now I'm about to be induced with my second one and I'm absolutely terrified that this will happen again. :(

Doctor is forcing baby out next weekend if he doesn’t come on his own. The hospital and staff are lovely, but I’m praying he arrives on his own beforehand. This was really helpful-many other videos I’ve watched have just made me feel anxious; you just made me feel like it’s not as scary and I’ve got this.

This is so helpful. I am fascinated by labor and have done so much research, yet a lot of this info was new to me. I’ve also been in the hospital for an induction, and no one ever told me any of this. Thankfully my baby decided to come on her own before the induction process was started.

Had an unsuccessful TOLAC 2 years ago; due with baby #3 next spring- trying again and hopeful! Baby 1 was OP, water broke and naively went into hospital excited but prior to contractions beginning (hindsight would’ve stayed home overnight at least). 2 full nights laboring and Pitocin …never progressed past 9 cm. C-section was traumatic! Baby #2 (new facility) was breach- successful ECV at just over 37 weeks. Still never properly descended. Tried foley balloon induction at 41 weeks (midwife was willing to wait longer to see if natural labor would start- wish I had’ve just been patient!). Another 3 day labor- worse contractions and never dilated at all. At least C-section was much less traumatic. Currently Getting ready to start spinning babies, especially when I hit 3rd trimester; thinking about starting tomorrow, though, as I just started vacation (24.5 weeks) Or at least doing some 2nd trimester workout videos. Thanks for the info and encouragement! never tried a fan or twinkle lights & want to. Cheers!

If I only had people in the room that I feel comfortable being naked in front of, the doctors and nurses wouldn't be there either, but that's not really an option. I'm only allowing my husband as non medical staff. Luckily, my family is very understanding and accepting of this.

I am due with my first in less 6 days. My doctor wants to induce if she doesn't come on her own, so either way, less than a week, I am having my baby girl. I plan on doing it naturally. Great time for me to come across this video!

I'm 20 weeks and getting my 4th c-section in May. The 1St one was terrifying (emergency) my ob even said she was scared she had already lost the baby. 2nd one (planned) was so much better. My 3rd was by far the best, by day 7 i was off all pain meds and almost completely back to normal. Also didn't have any visitors that time. The worst part of a c-section is getting the spinal but it doesn't take long at all and before you know it they'll have your partner with you and are ready to begin. For me i won't allow any visitors until I'm up and walking around again. Good luck. It really isn't as bad as people make it out to be.

17:35 i had twins. I had pitocin induction, and they amped up the pitocin to the highest. Didn’t have an epidural yet, but I felt no pain. But I went in at 4-5 cm, (had preterm labor scare, and was sitting at 3 cm for 2 months.) But it stalled and they went over the limit of pitocin. Then they were like “let’s break the water,” and then they said “if you want an epidural, now is the time,” That was a time for an epidural, because I went from 0-100.

I was 5cm when I got the epidural, I wasn’t planning on it but I had no idea how painful contractions really are. Not pregnant yet (will be soon), but I `ve had a terrible infection down there, that made it very painful to both pee and poop. I thought I am such a weak crybaby for being afraid to use the toilet, that only I`m so spolied to be afraid of something so natural and that everyone goes trough it at some point, and nobody knows because it`s not a big deal, I`m just scared and weak, but this video makes me be more at peace with myself, understanding that there are other people that also suffer from the so-called "fear of pushing out (FOPO)". Hells, the fact that it even got named makes me happy and more at ease :D. I love this video, I love how informative and easy to understand it is. Also, the sence of humour is amazing :D Loved every second of it! ^-^

I just experienced an early pregnancy loss. I was 5 weeks 1 day and it was not planned. My husband and I are nowhere near ready to welcome a little bundle of joy(just married and both early 20s), so he was super relieved when it happened. However, despite it being unplanned I have been going through a whirlwind of emotions that come in waves. At some moments, I feel relief and gratitude to know that it wasn’t our time, since we want to give our baby the best life possible and not a life full of living paycheck to paycheck. Other moments(right now especially since it is still very fresh), I am feeling immense sadness and frustration towards my body. I am still young, but this was my second miscarriage. Both were not planned, which I know were probably blessings in disguise, but I just can’t help but feel inadequate. I feel very sad; I got my first and final positive test during the loss, and of course I was terrified but also a part of me excited. It was the faintest line, to the point where it almost could pass as ‘line eyes’, but it was there. The next test I took that following morning was negative. It’s hard though because my husband wants us to keep it a secret, my suspicion so his parents and family don’t find out, but all I want to do is talk to my mom about it. My best friend knows it happened and also was there when I took that one test, but I just want my mom. I get why he doesn’t want anyone to know and I respect it, but man it’s hard. I think I’m in shock today as well because it finished yesterday, and today it just feels like it was all a dream. Like it never happened but I’m just riddled with this grief over a now intangible thing that was presented to us. Sorry for this being so long, I just wanted to get all of that out.

I'm prepping for a scheduled C-section with my second, and I'm so glad I came back to watch this video again (saw it in prep for my first, ended up with a vaginal birth). With my first I learned that my anatomy really requires me to sit upright to breastfeed, so after watching this just now I bought a MBF pillow despite already owning a Boppy. It's important to me that I can establish a good breastfeeding relationship with my second baby for her health; and knowing the challenges that C-section mamas tend to have with breastfeeding, also knowing what I know now about my own milk production, it was worth the investment to me. I'm not going to "wait and see," I'm going to do what is best for my own recovery this time!
