Really wish Curse Mark came back but like without the whole parasite thing. Curse mark users were by far the siiickest most unique characters in the show hands down. Like Juzo is probably the weakest one in terms of cool factor if we're stack ranking curse mark users for comparison.

Hey I just wanna say this long video on Bakura is amazing. I actually didn’t know that Yami Bakura had that quick duel with Joey in the manga. I think it’s pretty cool! The anime never covered it sadly. Also idk if this is the reason why. But one reason I assume Bakura wasn’t in the anime as much was because his first voice actress died of lung cancer in 2002. She was diagnosed in 2001 so I assume it was becoming a bit of an issue trying to find where to put Bakura in the first season. Anyway awesome video nonetheless. Keep up the great work.

I actually wrote/scripted a duel between them with their BC decks that ended in a draw. It was really fun and would love to see it shared one day.

Yugi lost because the duel was timed. Summoned Skull was about to win the duel for Yugi. Pegasus states this. You state this. Not a very overwhelming defeat.

I would say he brushed off a direct attack from Dragon Master Knight in the Animé, but that would imply he felt it! "It was light, but tainted light", as he put it! Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon's light wasn't strong enough and that's no weakling among Duel Monsters, even in 2024, it mightn't be a good Fusion Monster, but 4500 ATK is nowt to sniff at!

Zorc is very similar in concept to the idea of evil in Berserk

A couple of errors in the video. You keep saying millennium script when it has two names, spellbook or tome. You call Zorc the embodiment of evil when he is the embodiment t of darkness as he existed eons before humanity as the calling of him being the embodiment of evil of humankind was a nerf as Takashi made a villain that Atem literally cannot beat even summoning Holstice the creator of light is impossible as you're using pure dark power that belongs to Zorc being an embodiment of that power so Takashi switched him to human negativity to help facilitate Zorcs defeat. Even in anime, they go right back to the embodiment of darkness, then just like manga, switch it to an embodiment of evil as theirs not enough plot armor to beat this man as all of Atems power or plot itself belonged to Zorc as being what he is let say discard the nerf's there's a lot more he can do that makes the situation worse for Atem to win.

Zorc was totally a great end game villain. And honestly? I headcanon that he was even more powerful in the anime than in the manga. But no contest, he was definitely more frightening in the manga thanks to that good Kazuki Takahashi horror aesthetic. Rest in peace to a real one. ✌

There are also one more reason in the duel against Marik... Bakura could've just set Monster Reborn and THEN activate exchange, with that Marik couldn't summon Ra in the first place, therefore Bakura could win attackimg with 3 powerful monsters. Plus, in the round 3 against Yugi, in the Pharaoh memories. Bakura summoned Necro Pot and then attacked Yugi to make him discard cards from his deck, therefore leaving one card in Yugi's deck which was Gandora which resulted in Bakura's defeat. BUT, if Bakura just ended his turn without summoning Necro Pot and attacking with it, Yugi would need to discard the rest of the deck and thus, losing.
