Also grew up in the golden age, actually it was this game that got me to play a mobile game. The fact that its the same people who made Chrono Trigger, my all time favorite game, FF7, Chrono Cross made this and i love it! They keep making the crossovers of games ive played! I hope they keep making content for this game forever. I will say they do skimp on five stars, but do every now and than increase drops. But as you say its 100 percent a f2p game now, hell you can change the difficulty too. Id say the Octopath Traveler mobile game comes in as second best

Neo was alright, definitely not great. But it is sad I won't get more games sine I really liked the first one.

every single game I own and heard of except for Fuga. Neo, Finallly a sequel which I pre-orded. Bought and got both Gamecube versions of Batien Kaitos online for pretty cheap with booklets. Jeanne D'Arc on psp was one my 1st psp games along with Legend of Heroes (another tactical rpg). Bought day one the new Mana game as well as the Granblue Fantasy rpg, to think it took forever to game to finally release! Every game aside Path of Radiance, Earthbound, and Fuga, I own. For Sakura Wars, I started out on So Long my Love on the wii and then got the ps4 game. I used to hunt obscure Jrpgs with my sibling whenever we shopped for games.

I only am Sad that NieR has no successor KH IV ? Into the bin. Disney Interactive is nomore and KHIII was so bad I was contemplating on quitting midway.. It was a UE4 Techdemo at best So hollow.. The Nobody of the KH games Persona 6 is clear. 5 ie being milked waaay too hard. And metaphore was very successful Oh and whats that KH Integrum "" Masterpiece "" ? Wtf SquareEnix

NEO was too grindy to be enjoyable Visions of Mana skipped the Switch version. Big mistake Harvestella was shackled by its stupid hungry mechanic etc...

Triangle strategy, is one of the worst games ever made only 20 battles and over 80 hours of absolutely terrible story

I noticed they didn't do a good job with the translation in Harvestella. There are a handful of things that were never translated sure they're small but still. Also the game asks for your gender pronouns but no matter what you pick the characters always refer to you as he/him. Still love the game though and will recommend it every with the translation & grammar errors.

Earthbound bombed in the US due to its horrible marketing.

I don't see them doing a port of PoR or RD. They are not just the worst FE games plot and character wise, but literally the worst sales wise both in the americas and even worse in japan.

I was going to pick up Visions of Mana but then heard the studio closed right before release and that put a huge sour taste in my mouth and so I never did.

Very sad to hear about Harvestella, it was so so so good!

How did these happen? Well I have an idea on a few. TWEWY NEO: The game was barely advertized and the few trailers they made didn't really sell you on the story or gameplay in a way that mattered to non fans and even most fans weren't entirely sure what to make of it. They needed to really push the story and character aspects to get people interested in exploring the world. It also ... didn't help that rumors came out the English transaltion took a fair few creative liberties RIGHT when Western companies were starting to do the whole "SO what if we rewrite the dialogue? we write for the Modern Audience!" which probably really made western fans hesitate to pick it up at least until the rumors were clarified and it was ... not great but tolerable. Visions of Mana: This game had a BETTER advertisement push behind it but it's advertisement was still pretty mid and the other big issue I felt with it was that if you looked into the story, the first part is all about "We're going on a journey to be human sacrifices so the world doesn't die" ... That's ... kind of a downer objective to start the game off with. I imagine people weren't exactly tripping over themselves to complete this. Harvestella: From an outside perspective this game REALLY didn't demonstrate how the farming and JRPG aspects actually blended in a fun way. it just looked like Square Enix trying to make their own Rune Factory or Harvest Moon and people already had those games. It needed to sell something about itself that really stood out from the others. As for the rest the fact I've never even heard of most of them says a lot about their advertisement and sales.

neo the world ends with you is so incredible. its quite upsetting that square didnt market the game for shit, leaving it out to flounder. such irreverence for an excellent and unique game

I think fuga comes off as a mobile game. That's probably the issue.

The fact that Square did no marketing whatsoever for the game and out of nowhere simply shadowdropped the game on Steam didn't help Neo: TWEWY at all. A pitty tho, The game is amazing!

Man, I really hope Tri-ace at least gets to release a Star Ocean 3 remaster or remake. It's one of my favorite games on the PS2

14:02 vision of mana is trash, play style, combact, RPG related stats and things, story, total TRASH. Don't waste your money and time on this. If you wanna play similar game just play Trials of Mana 3 remake.

Jeanne Darc is AMAZING. also i believe for star ocean games is on the pixel/2D format, all of the 3D ones kinda lost the spell that 1st and 2nd had..., even tales of eternia is more star ocean ish than the 3D star oceans. I believe that same feeling falls under Mana games

I play Dragon Valor when i was about 13-14 in year 2001. I barely remember the plot, but has a good memories about the game.
